( gamora's been lucky enough to avoid getting sick and to avoid being squished into green paste by the bombing. it's been a lively month, but her expression is far from amused. or even the general disdain she's taken to addressing the network with.

Next time anyone tries to pick a fight with me I'm going to do more than dent a wall with them. Especially if their reasoning is "someone who clearly isn't human, they must be someone we don't want around!". Terrans are outnumbered everywhere in the galaxy except for this rock, and yet somehow you think you're special.

Get over yourselves.

( guess who's just been harassed by a citizen of exsilium who has it in for those obvious transports? and guess who ever so kindly did nothing to improve the relationship between the two groups? )

I would consider Vulcans in particular, however they are not the only example. Just the ones most Terrans--at least those from my own world--would be familiar with.

Vulcans. ( nope doesn't sound familiar to her at all. ) Great, another universe where Terrans are the only ones to be a constant.

( she's pretty okay with her species not existing in other universes on the whole - and even if they did exist in whatever weird similar universe stark's from, they're probably all dead. )

Not necessarily true. I am hardly a walking database of species.

Even if I were aware of a species that existed in both our universes, you would not be aware of the Borg species designation to confirm it.

( as far as gamora's concerned there's only a few species she could be - and none of them sound anything like 'Borg'. )

[Earlier in her development, that would have gotten a flat 'yes'. She thinks of it in a bit more complicated manner now.]

Partly. The Borg Collective is made up of individuals from thousands of different species. I am a human that was assimilated by the Borg, and later severed from the Collective.

They're not in the habit of calling anyone a 'select' are they?

( gamora's own memories of a similar experience - assimilation - are definitely ones she's trying to forget, and her expression darkens at the other's words. )

No. Drones that are still a part of the Collective are referred to by their designations, nearly exclusively. If they are addressed in an individual sense at all.
