[Sora isn’t exactly the greatest with computers. Really, it’s a miracle he’s figured out how to type a message at all, though ‘type’ is a loose term. The hunt and peck may or may not be attributed to suspicion that this little electronic device might eat him like the last one did. He's followed along with the whole introduction to the Initiative and doesn't seem to concerned about it - kinda normal for him, really - so he's just inside the housing building trying to figure this piece of junk out.
We're so sorry, Exsilium.]

[It’s at this point that, since it’s clear mashing enter isn’t about to accomplish anything, he’s inspecting the little device, pressing this key and that key and moving the scroll and it’s only by a stroke of luck he discovers (accidentally) the video function. When it comes on, it’s showing an awesome view of… the upper corner of the ceiling. Currently inspecting the underside of the keyboard portion of the device while holding it above his head, he’s muttering to himself.]
What’s this thing even do? It looks kinda small for a computer. [The shot of the ceiling blurs as he shakes it, and then the world turns upside down to show a pair of very bright and very intense blue eyes.]
Oh, now it’s doing something. Uh. Hey, Tron. You in there? Or… another program… guy. Promise I won’t bite. Can you help me out? I’m looking for a friend— See, his name’s Riku and we got separated and then I showed up here. He—
Er. Hello?

Er. Hello?

video
Oh! Yeah. He told me already. I'm gonna see him in a minute.
[...Wait, you know Riku but Sora doesn't know you. Could. Could you possibly be.] --Are you a friend of his?
video
[ Now that's a question he isn't quite sure to answer. Sure he and Riku had spoken with each other after the first mission, him even going so far as to attempt to heal his hand and succeeding to a degree. But could they be considered friends? ]
Well, we've only really talked to each other once but I'd like for us to be friends.
[ pause ] I take it that you're a friend of his, though?
video
But the thoughtful expression is brief, and he's perking up again.]
Yeah, the best! We grew up together.
video
[ He has a vague idea that Riku's been through a lot, their first chat having more than a person would think a simple chat would have. But it really is nice to know that someone will be around to help Riku. And since this person is the other's best friend, even better. ]
video
I'm Sora! I take it you're another one of the "transports"?
video
[ This one sure is a contrast to others that he's seen and met with so far, though admittedly it hasn't been very many. There's just a liveliness that's refreshing. ]
Yeah, I just got here about a month or so ago. Still pretty new compared to other people.
video
So... Mmm. Are there a lot of us here? Seems a little weird that they're pulling people in from a bunch of different places, even if they need the help.
[The only place he can think of that's like that was Traverse Town, where everyone knew everyone was from somewhere else. But that... was still different. He's hoping none of the people here are castaways with no home to go back to, anyway.]
video
[ Which still troubles Fayt, if he were completely honest. The lack of information is what caused bad things to happen in his world in the first place. Withholding important things until it was too late, he wonders if the people realize that here. ]
video
[That's how he's used to it working, anyway.]
video
[ More than anything, he wants everyone to go back if they don't want to stay here, but realistically speaking, there's a slim chance of that happening any time soon if the way things are going is anything to go by. ]
I don't think things will be fixed up as quickly as everyone hopes it will be. And going on the missions themselves won't be easy on others, either.
video
I guess for now we'll just do our best. I'll see what the missions are like for myself soon enough anyway.
video
[ Though he doesn't want someone so young to have to deal with the fighting and such, he knows that the Initiative won't be listening to any sort of protest any of them may have about it. And if Sora is best friends with Riku, then there's a chance that he'd been fighting for a couple of years as well. At least he has experience in that regard, but still. ]
I just hope it won't be like the last mission, but I doubt it since all they really want from us is to fight for them.
video
video
It's an image he's seen before but that doesn't make it any easy to swallow. ]
A lot of fighting, senseless fighting that I wish could have been avoided. But that's what happens when there's a war, I guess.
video
If we don't fight then nothing will change, though, right? Isn't that how it works?
