[Sango doesn't waste much time once she gets the feed on.]
A few things.
First... I would like to have some sparring partners and some teachers. While I'm good with my own weapons, it's pretty clear that they're not advanced enough to take on the UE's technology. If someone would be able to show me how to use something more effective, maybe some sort of gun, I'd be grateful and would do something in return. I think other people have already offered, but I'm also open to instructing in swordsmanship and related combat things.
Second, I wanted to say thank you to those of you who have been concerned or helped me out lately, both in arriving here and in... well, recent events. It means a lot.
Third. [She hesitates, wondering how to phrase this.] Say that someone from your world, who's... from later in time, tells you something bad happens in your future. You don't trust the person who says it, but they don't exactly have a good reason to lie about it at this point. What...
[Where is she even going with this? Sango stops abruptly and her frown is nearly palpable on the feed.]
You know what, never mind. Just sparring partners and teachers and thank-yous are all, I guess.

[Both public places, no need to get worked up that way.]
Yes, sooner is better, anyway Veraun.
[video]--->[action]
[And Sango will appear at the appointed destination within a few minutes, dressed in what, for her, is casual clothing... though for everyone else it's dated and odd.]
[action]
You look nice in person, Veraun Sango.
[As soon as the words are out of his mouth, Enno is reaching into the bag on his hip, pulling out a gnarled brown root that may have a passing resemblance to a potato save for the dull orange coloring. He then holds it out for her to take.]
[action]
[At the compliment she flushes darkly, and then reaches to take the potato-looking thing and examine it.]
Ah, thank you. I know I'll make good use of it... how can I repay you?
[action]
Nein, Veraun. I do not require anything in return, it is part of my Code.
[action]
[WHY WON'T ANYONE LET HER BE NICE OMFG]
[action]
[He smiles finally(and it adds, he really should do it more often) before inclining his head slightly.]
The Knight's Code, do you not know it, Veraun Sango?
[action]
No, I haven't.
[action]
It is normally required to have a sword, but I have left mine in my room...
[He kneels, one arm resting on his down turned knee while his other hand rests it's palm flat against the ground.]
Valor...
[He whispers the word, and closes his eyes to concentrate on what the following words mean, to himself.]
A knight... Is sworn to Valor.
His heart knows only Virtue.
His Blade defends the helpless.
His word speaks only Truth.
His Shield shelters the forsaken.
His Courage gives Hope to the despairing.
His wrath undoes the wicked.
His image brings Peace.
His Code breaks the darkness.
His legend brings Light.
[He then rises, taking a slow breath and opening his eyes. He then relaxes a bit.]
...What would you do to repay me, Veraun Sango?
[action]
The ritual is strange, but the statutes are ones she can approve of. So she smiles faintly as he rises.]
Well, I figure you already know how to use a sword, so would inviting you over for tea some time break that Code? ...once I get your name, of course.
[action]
That would be nice, Veraun, and not such a thing that I can not look the other way once. [That's a joke by the by, he does make them still sometimes. He then bows deeply for her.] My full name is Colin Enno Diederich III, please call me Enno.
[action] /endthread?
Then it's nice to meet you, Enno.
/endthread~
Likewise. Until next time, Veraun.
