[ It takes a bit of shaking the thing about. Despite the tutorial, this is so different to Edmund that he can't seem to fully grasp it at once. He eventually seems to get that it's recording, though, and the shaking stops. ]

Um, hello. While a great deal of things have certainly been explained to me, and I'm doing my best to try and catch up on it all, I did have a question I was hoping people might be able to answer for me.

Have you come across anyone with the last name "Pevensie"? I'm looking for my brother and sisters. Or even just one of them, maybe. Lucy? Are you here?

[ He's not used to world jumping without her and he's hopeful she'll get the message. He presses his lips together a little more roughly, trying not to convey too many of his nerves and keep up a mostly regal appearance. ]

i felt pretty lucky. though the last world i was in was in a lot better shape.

Worlds can survive a lot. It's the people you should worry about.

they're usually the ones who make up the condition of the world, in my experience. i guess i look to it as one in the same.

Doesn't mean you were.

With or without people, the world would go on turning. That's already enough of a counterargument.

the world might keep on turning, but that doesn't mean that the people on it aren't going to have an affect on it. narnia was in a perpetual state of winter once because of the acts of an evil witch and the people who supported her. later, the world was falling to pieces and trees were being ripped from the ground no matter their objections to it because of the telmarines that were destroying the foundation of the world itself. they were squashing out the life force of narnia in both instances and leaving the world in a state it couldn't have survived in.

worlds can survive plenty, but people are very good at destroying them.

Where did I claim we weren't? All I'm saying is, we're not the whole of a world. You can argue we're one and the same in some sense, but you can't just focus on the people and pretend that's all you need to know. Nothing good ever came out of that.
