[ It takes a bit of shaking the thing about. Despite the tutorial, this is so different to Edmund that he can't seem to fully grasp it at once. He eventually seems to get that it's recording, though, and the shaking stops. ]

Um, hello. While a great deal of things have certainly been explained to me, and I'm doing my best to try and catch up on it all, I did have a question I was hoping people might be able to answer for me.

Have you come across anyone with the last name "Pevensie"? I'm looking for my brother and sisters. Or even just one of them, maybe. Lucy? Are you here?

[ He's not used to world jumping without her and he's hopeful she'll get the message. He presses his lips together a little more roughly, trying not to convey too many of his nerves and keep up a mostly regal appearance. ]

Do I? I mean - I suppose I am. I'm not pleased by any standards, but these sorts of things happen. I'm sure I'll get home eventually.

Getting abducted into a separate world just happens?

Well - uh - yes? I mean, when I was ten, I stumbled through a wardrobe with my siblings and ended up in a winter wonderland of sorts. So it's not really as uncommon as you think.

Maybe in some places. [a little ponderous half-chuckle.] The closest thing in my world is time travel, through an old well actually, but it only happens with one person I know and only transports from one era to another. Not nearly as complex as it is here.

I've only ever found my way between Narnia and London, but Aslan said that it's connected to many worlds. So I guess... this shouldn't be all too surprising to me. I've only ever known us to do it, though, so it's interesting to get to talk to so many people from other places this time.

Honestly, it makes it a little less isolating.

Who's Aslan?

He's the Great Lion. The creator of Narnia.

So... like a god?

Yeah, a bit. Though he never calls himself one.

Well, some are more modest than others. It seems to me that the least powerful ones like to brag the most.

[ He chuckles a little, because... well, that sounds a lot like Jadis, that's for sure. ]

Sounds about right. Aslan is, above all else, a modest sort. He's not one to enjoy attention.

I take it you're fond of him.

Very. He saved my life once when I might not have deserved it, so I'm forever in his debt.

Funny, the same thing happened to me, though the person who saved me wasn't a god.

... I'm sorry to hear that that's something we have in common.

[Little sigh that says a whole lot more than the words she actually speaks.]

[And sort of tragic but we're not going to mention that shhhhh.]
