[ It takes a bit of shaking the thing about. Despite the tutorial, this is so different to Edmund that he can't seem to fully grasp it at once. He eventually seems to get that it's recording, though, and the shaking stops. ]

Um, hello. While a great deal of things have certainly been explained to me, and I'm doing my best to try and catch up on it all, I did have a question I was hoping people might be able to answer for me.
Have you come across anyone with the last name "Pevensie"? I'm looking for my brother and sisters. Or even just one of them, maybe. Lucy? Are you here?

I've never broken mine, so I'm not sure, but I'm gonna guess the higher-ups might be annoyed if you broke the free shiny they gave you. [ Well. Er. ] -- Sort of free. How much have you gotten the low-down on?

[ "Free Shiny." That's a way to put it. He rubs the back of his head a little. ] Er, well - I got a lengthy introduction, but it's all sort of sinking in still. It's a lot of information they try to get into your head at once.

Yep. You'd think they'd have an in-flight training manual but mostly it's just word of mouth from the other transports. Personally, I don't always trust what the Initiative reps say. I know I didn't listen to a word of it when I first got here.

I tried to listen, but it's a bit hard. I mean, I'm sure my sister Susan would pick it all up in an instant, but not all of us are a sort like her. Why don't you trust them? [ It's not to say he does necessarily; after the White Witch, he really ought to be more wary. But he's not sure what he makes of it all. ]

Sounds like Willow. [ LBR Willow and Susan would be best friends. ]
Because nobody who's in charge ever tells the whole truth. [ SHE KNOWS. SHE's BEEN IN CHARGE. ] Especially when it comes to government.

[ The best of friends. He smiles a little. ] I guess everyone's got to have a know it all around.
Mmm. [ He frowns because he's definitely sure that's true. ] Not giving the whole truth doesn't make someone untrustworthy though. So long as what little they do give is enough to keep you safe.

[ Snort. ] Willow's not really a know-it-all she's just... uber-smart uber-witch! Very into the books and learning. Academically inclined.
