[Welp, there sure is an elf on your tablet. She gives a respectful nod of her head before speaking.]

If you have a moment, there is something I would discuss with you.

[Celebrían, video]

May I speak with you, pinig?

[Action for...a little plot of land near the apartments]

[Believe it or not, even ethereal elves get stressed. Working in the clinic almost nonstop since the battle has taken a toll on Galadriel and, even worse, Celebrían had been affected. Most seriously affected. It had only reinforced the fact that, however she might try, Galadriel could not protect her daughter as she wished to. Not unless she were to lock her in a tower and- well, Thingol’s example wasn’t something she wanted follow here.

Frustration, anger, and a deep seated feeling of guilt and failure fuel her lately. She’s aware that’s not exactly healthy, though, so she’s taking some time to herself- and what better way to sooth her soul than to do some gardening?

It’s nothing major, just a little empty lot near the holds that she’s taken charge of- and for the moment, it’s nothing more than a few vegetables and herbs here and there. Mostly what she’s been able to scrounge up in the marketplace or useful things that she’s found growing wild in the city. But it feels good to have some connection to nature, to surround herself with growing things again. And, of course, having Nenya with her means that the garden has a little boost. You can feel it, really- it’s a feeling of safety, of comfort, and of life. It’s not obvious magic, at least not to anyone who isn’t familiar to that sort of thing, but it’s there.]

[He blinks dumbly for a moment before crouching next to the tiny garden.]

I guess it's entirely possible that I've merely missed its existence since I got here. No one has ever accused me of being detail-oriented.

[He doesn't exactly smile, but he does quirk an eyebrow, amused.]

Should I have been referring to something else?

Where I'm from, the greenery is all so... perpetually green. It was almost refreshing, the change here, but perhaps I've missed it, just a bit.

I admit some surprise that anyone would dare. [Just because they've from different worlds doesn't mean Tenpou isn't still capable of recognizing power, in all its forms, when he sees it.]

A lack of change is always tiring. In the world below, they celebrate when the trees are in bloom, but in Heaven, they never stop blooming. The greatest pleasures are the rarest, as they say. Much like your garden here.

[Is he serious? Is he teasing? Perhaps a bit of both.]

[And his answering grin is wry.] I'll beg you not to let that secret slip. My reputation would be ruined.

But you do not agree entirely, either?

[He could see her point, even if he'd never experienced it himself. Strange, to think that either side of the coin was equally as bad in its own way.] Shall I assume you come from the world below, then? Earth, I suppose they call it.

[She's made the classic mistake of telling Tenpou about things he has yet to know about. Might be a good thing they're both immortal.]

Arda. I can't say that's one I'm familiar with. May I ask about your people, then?

Only what I've seen in stories, I'm afraid. A yosei, a... what would be the word, a fae, perhaps, would be the closest we would come.

Something like our dragons, then. Protectors.

[That's the impression he gets, at least. Most he's met with an inclination to destruction don't bother with vegetable gardens.]
