We have the choice. We just have to take a little more time in figuring out how to make those choices possible, then act.

A better question is: why work towards something that seems impossible? The rule about not bringing anything living through the portal has been there for long time, yes?

Wrong. Has been for a long time? Maybe, but that's using the tech in a weird way that's been untested before this. You don't give up after a failure or two, you keep trying! We've barely been around for more than a year. Yet you'd write off any changes that fast?

Changes come from the same place as current circumstances. Yet you'd trust those changes?

Why would it? It's nice having a name for a face, that's all. And I like meeting people in person! That's definitely the best.

Yep! But I'd rather people lie like that. Then at least I know who they are.

You can see lying people and know who they are? At least if people don't give names, you know you know nothing.
