[He looks like he could use a nap, and he sounds a bit, well, almost bored.]

I suppose introductions are in order. My name is Kirian Dawningsun, and I've met a handful of you already.

[He manages half of a smile. Look, he's attempting to be pleasant.]

Due to a more recent message on this network, I would like to take the opportunity to offer my skills as a tailor. I do not work for charity, but I am rather skilled in men's and women's garments.  I'm certain that you'll find any cost will be well worth it.  I can enchant garments, as well, though I'm afraid I do not have the materials to offer more than very simple ones at this time- fire resistance in the cloth, and the like.

I ask only that you contact me to negotiate the terms of the work, and allow me a bit of time to finish the garment. Payment is required in advance, to pay for the materials necessary.

[He steps inside, propping his cane by the door. He walks with a slight limp.]

I'm afraid I didn't get your name.

[She notices the cane and a limp, she'd be blind not to, but she refrains from making a comment just yet. Instead, there are introductions to make and she really enjoys those, grabbing one of his hands with two of hers and shaking it clumsily.]

Kinna Nananea is my full name, but as we are soon to become very closely acquainted, I will insist you simply call me Nananea!

[She's very...enthusiastic. He shakes her hands as best he can with his own gloved ones, and nods.]

Very well, Nananea.

[He swings his bag around, pulling out a small book, a pen, and a long strip of cloth marked with small lines and characters that denote numbers in his home language.

He steps over, measuring her shoulders, the book floating behind him and pen writing on its own as he murmurs measurements to himself.]

Do you have any preference for materials or colors?

[xenophiliac]

[It seems like she's no stranger to being measured, amazingly holding still as he works. She doesn't even gesture like she usually does when she talks.]

The material only needs to be warm. And soft! And I have to insist on wearing blue or green!

[She glances to the floating book curiously, but doesn't comment on it yet. She's slowly getting used to all the weird magic other transports use.]

Have you been a tailor long?

[dawningsun]

[He waves his hand, and the pen skips ahead on the page to write down her requirements, and then darts back as he continues measuring.]

Several hundred years, by now.

[xenophiliac]

Hah! So you must be quite the expert. Not that I ever doubted you were.

[She doesn't really seem surprised or startled by his age. She's really just filing the information away for later, when more questions occur to her.]

You know, I've always been very fond of tailors. Appreciative, I suppose.

[dawningsun]

It is my trade, along with enchanting garments and armor. And weapons.

[He motions for her to hold her arms out, and measures both wrists on her right arm, then the length of the forearms, he is taking very detailed measurements here.]

I find it to be enjoyable work, I suppose.

It would have to be enjoyable, to do this for so long.

["Enchanting" goes right over her head, another little tidbit of knowledge she'll file away and bring up later. She wiggles her fingers as he measures her wrist, getting antsy from holding still. Something she does not like doing.]

You are an elf, yes? I assume. I am still not an expert at recognizing your species.

I am yes, a Blood Elf, to be exact. I take it you are not of Earth, are you? I've only observed a multitude of humans, when I visited it briefly...save for the transports from here, of course.

[More figures, and the pen sketches a small drawing of one of her arms]

You may put your arms down now.

[He pulls the measuring tape around her waist and begins to measure her torso.]

Hah! I would be a very strange Earth-citizen, would I not? I could give you a list of all the species I have encountered. I take notes.

[She doesn't lower her arms just yet, giving him more space to work with as he measures. A thought does occur to her, though, and she lets it roll around her head for a minute before voicing it.]

Is it common for elf tailors to take measurements over clothing?

I was merely taking rough measurements for the moment. Though, if you wished for a more fitted garment, then, by all means, you may disrobe.
