Now that we have been resettled...

This is around the time of year that Children's Week is celebrated, isn't it? It is a festival that honors those who we fight for...and that reminds us that our wars affect more than just soldiers. 

[Yeah, that was a little melancholy. She's had a bit on her mind, since her DK field trip. She gives a small sigh.]

I suppose there isn't much here, but perhaps I could find some sort of treat  if anyone would like to celebrate with me. Children are important, after all.

I believe we're planning on making cookies for the children at the orphanage...do you bake at all?

Oh man, do I? I was taught by the best! The trick will be baking them and not having my roommate eat them all in the process!

Oh? Then perhaps we could bake them all together. I think we might need a lot...I'm only an amateur.

I'd like that! You should ask Jesse, too. He likes to bake for people, it helps make him feel good about himself and stuff. Then we can all bake cookies together, just as something to start with!

Ah. It sounds like I should. If we have enough people, then it won't be too hard...[plot plot plot] And it will be nice to be with friends. [friends are important. :D ]

Does your Vanadi also bake?
