Now that we have been resettled...

This is around the time of year that Children's Week is celebrated, isn't it? It is a festival that honors those who we fight for...and that reminds us that our wars affect more than just soldiers. 

[Yeah, that was a little melancholy. She's had a bit on her mind, since her DK field trip. She gives a small sigh.]

I suppose there isn't much here, but perhaps I could find some sort of treat  if anyone would like to celebrate with me. Children are important, after all.

There isn't much to do, exactly...it's just about being with the children.

But I was thinking of making cookies.

Well...much of it is focused on the orphans of the recent wars. You spend time with them, take them places if they wish...going to the ice cream shop is always popular.

Though I assume the ice cream shop is popular more often than once a year.

And, yes, I suppose it is. Who doesn't like ice cream?

Children's Week? I've never heard of that. But I think it sounds lovely.

It's one of my favorite holidays. I've made many little friends during it.

Everyone is supposed to spend time with the children in their lives, or visit an orphanage or school. The orphanage is very popular nowadays, with the recent wars.

[That made her sound a little sad. Cause....it's sad. :( ]

Oh, that's really neat! The Exiles have something kind of like that too, in February. It'd be nice to share more of the things we celebrate from home together, though! You could decorate the lobby and stuff?

Of course, it wouldn't be fun without the children joining in.
