Hello there! I'm planning to make an expedition into the outlands this month and do some rudimentary mapping of the area. If you'd like to join me or have been exploring the area before and would be willing to act as an experienced set of hands during the trip, I'm happy to have you along. Please just make sure to be properly equipped with survival gear and the like. Depending on how much time it takes for everyone to get their kit sorted, I'd like to head out on the 10th and return on the 13th -- Initiative missions permitting, of course.

For anyone who's been to the outlands: have you any suggestions or tips for the rest of us? I hear it's largely empty wasteland, but it never hurts to be prepared for this sort of thing.

Not very, no. It just depends on how much you enjoy getting yourself into trouble. The Earth I come from is without war, and far more peaceful than this version.

Oh! Is it very odd coming to a place like this then? I imagine there must've been a bit of a culture shock.

Not at all~ I've seen much and experienced many different cultures throughout my lifetime.

Yes, quite! You've travelled extensively?

That's right. I'm an investigative reporter where I'm from. It comes with quite a bit of it. [And a slice of danger, but he tends to not really think too much on that. It's part of the job, and not one he minds.]

How positively exciting! What type of things do you investigate? If I may ask! [He does love curious humans!]

Oh, all sorts of things. [No, really. He's not nearly so specialized as he ought to be. Some might consider that a drawback. Tintin prefers to think of it as being well rounded.] Criminal organizations, ancient mysteries, political subterfuge. The usual sort, I imagine.

It sounds like quite the adventure, and a rather dangerous one at that.

I suppose it is a bit dangerous, yes. [But honestly he tends not to think about things being dangerous so much as simply thinking about things which need to be done.]

Well all the technology for one is just fascinating. We haven't anything like, say, this tablet at home.
