Of course. I am a witch from England. I had to take a year off school but I did very well in all my classes. I was given the rank of prefect in my fifth year.

I was born in Auvergne, France, in November of 1760. I became a vampire twenty years later, and left France for New Orleans shortly before the French Revolution began. The rest... well, I already wrote two books about that.

Vampires exist in my world, and in other worlds as well. It's no stranger than my being a witch.

There's no reason for me to fear them. If they are hostile, I can defend myself. If they mean me no harm, then I would welcome them as a friend.

No. I've known vampires who find a way to drink blood without hurting anyone.

The blood has to be extracted somehow. Though, I'll grant you that some ways of doing that are less painful and more safe than others.

True. But whichever method they use, I wouldn't hold that against them. Prejudice and fear just shows ignorance.
