Say, to all you magic-users! I'm curious. How did you learn your art? I suppose this applies to anyone with an "unnatural" ability as well.

I have a puzzle for you, Exsilium. But that's not fun enough, is it? Let's make it a game! I'll pay the first three people who solve it 10✥... no, up to 50✥! The first one gets a special prize! Isn't that exciting? (⌒▽⌒)☆

Now, here is the situation! There are three houses. Each house needs electricity, gas, and water. The goal is to connect the houses to their utilities by drawing lines. It's easy, right? Very easy!

But there's a catch! None of the lines can intersect. But even with the handicap, it's a simple puzzle. I'm sure you can all crack it in no time!

Respond with your answers. Be sure to lock them, so there won't be any cheating~ 1✥ will buy you a hint.

[Whoa Uncle, he is getting really huge Parent Talk vibes from this conversation. Even so, he's still a little curious as to how many different powers there are around Exsilium... and how they could be used. Just in case, right?

Better to say yes. Makes things less complicated. And he wouldn't be trying it for himself, really. It's more for Kido... so his answer's not really a lie.]

Ah, that was the point of it. Everything's supposed to be up to the contestants~ I'm surprised, to tell the truth. I didn't expect them to catch on so quickly!

[Kids will be kids, of course, and kids will be curious. He recognizes that (just as well as he recognizes that Kano is the type to sniff out trouble) -- there's not a great deal he can do, but he can at least attempt to watch out for the Dan.]

There are all kinds of people here, too. [A little lighter.] You might have to be a little more creative with your puzzles, if you really want to present a challenge to everyone. Not that that one wasn't fun.

This was a test run of sorts. Now that I have the results, I'll have the next one be even tougher! [Impossible puzzles are fun to find. And there's a lot of books to flip through in the library.] It might give even an old wizard like you a challenge.

You're pretty serious about this. I'm not sure I'm so much of a wizard when it comes to puzzles, but I'll do my best if you come up with them.

Are puzzles a hobby of yours, Kano?

As Dan co-leader, I'd say you are. [Better than some of the other adults, at the moment. He hmms to himself.]

Sometimes! I borrowed this one from a book since I was bored. [And since he needed a roundabout way of getting rid of a cat...] Solving puzzles isn't really my thing--making them up is much more fun.

I had a lot of time on my hands to practice! [Being a teenager on his own with no school and no job leaves him with an awful lot of free time, Dan activities aside.] I take a lot from other magazines and puzzles. But like I said, solving puzzles isn't as fun as watching other people solve them, heh.
