Say, to all you magic-users! I'm curious. How did you learn your art? I suppose this applies to anyone with an "unnatural" ability as well.

I have a puzzle for you, Exsilium. But that's not fun enough, is it? Let's make it a game! I'll pay the first three people who solve it 10✥... no, up to 50✥! The first one gets a special prize! Isn't that exciting? (⌒▽⌒)☆

Now, here is the situation! There are three houses. Each house needs electricity, gas, and water. The goal is to connect the houses to their utilities by drawing lines. It's easy, right? Very easy!

But there's a catch! None of the lines can intersect. But even with the handicap, it's a simple puzzle. I'm sure you can all crack it in no time!

Respond with your answers. Be sure to lock them, so there won't be any cheating~ 1✥ will buy you a hint.

[A few seconds later, after picking up the thrown book, there's a knock at her door. Kano enters without waiting for her reply.]

You shouldn't throw books around. What if it hits someone in the head?

[She only catches half of that, in the middle of turning down her music. It's enough though.]

That was the point, idiot.

[Despite that, she takes out one of her earbuds and holds it out. He can come ~~lie down~~ sit and share her music.]

I was trying to make a new playlist. If you're that bored, you can make one for me.

[He sits beside her, tucking the earbud in. Nice song there.]

That sounds pretty easy. Do you have a theme in mind?

[She tilts her head so the cord won't tug as much between them, resting against her folded arms.]

I dunno. I think I have enough rainy days playlists now, though. Maybe a new one for falling asleep to would be good...

[He smiles, a little mischievous.]

Something nice and calm. Got it, got it. Ah, let me see your iPod, then.

[She eyes him for a second but shrugs and slides it over.]

Don't do anything stupid. I'm actually going to listen to it you know.

I'm hurt! You know I would never do anything of that sort.

[He starts scrolling through the songs.] I wonder... have you found any new songs recently?

Hm, not really but if you want to add some, you can. Your taste isn't that bad.

I'm afraid my music library didn't carry over like Kido's did. If I had my phone...

But, hey, hey! [Tangent time!] You know the Initiative library, right? They have all sorts of things, even a few records! Some of them are thousands of years old.

[His tangents really are out of nowhere but they tend to be going somewhere related.]

You mean music from our time...?

Exactly! I spent some time digging through them, finding all sorts of old songs~ You should come check it out too.

Sure. Why don't we go later?

[Saying later reminds her of something and she groans, suddenly putting her face flat on the bed. Her voice is muffled now.]

This place makes me feel so lazy. What the hell is with that?

[He rests his chin on his hand, leaning over. He shares some of her frustration--back home they had a clear goal they could work towards. Here... not so much.]

Is Leader bored of the future already?

The future sucks.

[She shifts her head slightly to look at him but her hair covers most of her face anyway.]

...And I don't like not being in charge...

How harsh, how harsh. But that's something that can't be helped, you know. [Not very reassuring, but it's the truth. They're just kids with a gang in Exsilium.]

Their mission is something we aren't knowledgeable about.

Yeah, I guess so. [She still doesn't like it. She can even pinpoint the reasons why but those, too, make her uncomfortable.]

...Anyway, nothing we can do about it, so it doesn't matter.

[He's a little hesitant about what he wants to suggest, but... he doesn't want to see her down.]

Wait, wait, that's not entirely true! I remember something that tour guide told us... no, I definitely remember hearing about it. They should have missions for those who want to help out. If Kido's that bored...

[Kido rolls onto her side to see him better.] Do you want to come with me?

[He grins at her.]

It depends on where we'll be sent to! Ah, if it's somewhere with a lot of cute girls and good food...

On second thought, I think I'd rather go alone.

What's with that sudden change in attitude? I was joking!

Your sense of humour is as bad as always! Still... I like that idea. You and me on a mission... sounds like fun, doesn't it?

Doesn't it, doesn't it? It'd be just like old times! [Sans Seto, but they aren't going to think about that. Focus on the excitement of doing something!!] Ah, I wonder if we can make requests on where we'd like to go...

Where would you want to go anywhere? I kind of want to go to America... or maybe France... I guess it depends on the time, too, though.
