Say, to all you magic-users! I'm curious. How did you learn your art? I suppose this applies to anyone with an "unnatural" ability as well.

I have a puzzle for you, Exsilium. But that's not fun enough, is it? Let's make it a game! I'll pay the first three people who solve it 10✥... no, up to 50✥! The first one gets a special prize! Isn't that exciting? (⌒▽⌒)☆

Now, here is the situation! There are three houses. Each house needs electricity, gas, and water. The goal is to connect the houses to their utilities by drawing lines. It's easy, right? Very easy!

But there's a catch! None of the lines can intersect. But even with the handicap, it's a simple puzzle. I'm sure you can all crack it in no time!

My people are born with powers, but they can be unpredictable and hard to control sometimes.

Mostly I just think what I want to happen, and it does, though sometimes I need to speak a Cast too.

Not always. Like I said, it's unpredictable. But it also has to do with the type of Caster I am. I'm a Natural, so I can control the natural world and anything in it.

I know some people here have wanted to learn magic, but I really can't teach it. It's just a part of who I am.

... that sounds awfully scary and dangerous.

But I think I get it. What about these different types of 'Casters?'

Oh, there's lot of different types. Sirens can make you do whatever they want, even make you jump off a cliff. Sybils can see all your secrets from reading your face. Empaths duplicate other Casters' powers temporarily. Palimpsests see all of time at once, but can focus on one specific time to show you if you want. Shifters and Illusionists can make anything look like anything else, only Shifters actually change the object while Illusionists just have a Cast over it to look different. Evanescents make objects disappear from anywhere and reappear in their possession. There are even more than that. I could go on awhile.

It sounds like your world's magic isn't the usual fireball and lightning sort.
