Camping trip?

No idea on the magnesium, but I can tell you now you won't find MREs here. Your best bet is probably picking up some smoked and dried food from the market. On the plus side it might taste like actual food.

You might want to get into contact with-- bugger I can't recall her name but there's some wild woman running about with red hair and an accent thick as anything. Dressed in furs like some barbarian princess. She seems the outdoorsy type.

Might be a good place to start if you're looking for specific survival goods.
