[Kagura had decided to come to the Initiative. This time, of course, not to try and take it over, but to train. She'd felt odd ever since she was out by that strange boy. And, being the stubborn woman she was, would not admit to being sick. She'd just fight it off. Her body could regenerate. It always had. It always would as long as Naraku still had her heart.

After successfully getting the annoying trainer to leave her be, the place was hers. She closed her eyes for a second, overcome by nausea, but opened them with overwhelming resolve to stay upright, flicking her wrist to hit the target with a wind blade. Just one more....this time, she used her whole arm, creating a tornado.

It disappeared right away as she dropped to her knees, clutching her stomach. She felt like retching up it's contents, but she couldn't do that now. Not here. She forced herself to stand, the camera left on the floor, as she wobbled her way to the door. One can assume that thud a few seconds later is her collapse.]

I'm unable to die from things like this.

[But, like most people getting stabbed, she flinches a little, a sharp intake of breath. But it's the only real reaction he gets. As soon as he puts his hand on her shoulder, she shrugs it off. Putting a hand to the barely bleeding wound, she stood, acting dignified.]

Thanks. [She says this coldly as she turns her back towards him, walking to the door.]

[Inwardly, Shiki smiled when he saw her get up and when she didn't opt to try and kill him. It was weird having that sort of encounter with a demon, whether or not he'd ever had one.]

Typically, when someone does something for someone else--whether or not it's weird, like this was--it's a good habit to thank them.

I don't care. Don't expect it again.

[She waves a hand in dismissal.]

Wait up. [Removing a kerchief from his pocket, Shiki dabbed the blood at the corner of his eyes.]

At the very least, I hope you avoid what happened before you make you that ill. It's completely gone now--I can't see any of it anymore--but, that isn't saying it can't happen again.

I will. You don't need to tell me.

Fine enough. [He gave an irritated sigh, standing up on wobbly knees.]

Your name, then. Technically, you owe me your life, you know.

I told you, I would regenerate. You simply saved me effort. Don't assume so much.

[A pause.]

It's Kagura.

Radiation can screw with genetics. I know what that was. [Well, he didn't--but, that was his best guess.] If it affected what makes you regenerate, then you might not have been so lucky.

And--I'm Shiki.

I didn't ask.

[She begins to open the door.]

Goodbye.

Take your new lease on life to do something nice, then.

[He didn't mind if she went.

If she died, that would have been different.]
