[Kagura had decided to come to the Initiative. This time, of course, not to try and take it over, but to train. She'd felt odd ever since she was out by that strange boy. And, being the stubborn woman she was, would not admit to being sick. She'd just fight it off. Her body could regenerate. It always had. It always would as long as Naraku still had her heart.

After successfully getting the annoying trainer to leave her be, the place was hers. She closed her eyes for a second, overcome by nausea, but opened them with overwhelming resolve to stay upright, flicking her wrist to hit the target with a wind blade. Just one more....this time, she used her whole arm, creating a tornado.

It disappeared right away as she dropped to her knees, clutching her stomach. She felt like retching up it's contents, but she couldn't do that now. Not here. She forced herself to stand, the camera left on the floor, as she wobbled her way to the door. One can assume that thud a few seconds later is her collapse.]

[ Said not so much with anything resembling sympathy so much as a statement of fact. ]

[It's all she can say, really. She's in no mind for retorts, or is she in the mind for long sentences.]

[ Eyes narrowing, he squints at the vulgar response. That's not going to stop him from watching, because what in the world could be eating her?

Hope you like getting stared at, Cas is good at this. ]

[A small sigh.] Cas... What are you expecting to achieve by staring at her like this?

Something is wrong with her. It can't be by my hand -- I did not strike her when I found her attacking Sam.

She did. If I had not intervened, I believe she would have killed him.

[ Which would have gone very, very badly for her if she had. ]

[She's stopped as she dry heaves for a second, holding her stomach.]

What the hell?

[It's said under her breath, as if she temporarily forgot that he was there. The next words are masking extreme pain only somewhat well, as her voice and face sound and look strained.]

J-just go!

You're ill.

[ Gee, you think? ]

...I assume waylaying other transports has not gone well for you.

[ This is of course assuming that she suffers from someone fighting back, not something unseen and intangible like radiation poisoning. But clearly, something is wrong with her. ]

It's not them.

[She spits it out quietly, almost in a growl.]

Then what is wrong with you?

[ Castiel's expression is the utter lack of sympathy, but that doesn't mean he's about to abandon his duty as a volunteer at Anders' clinic. While it's his choice to save those from their suffering, he's not sure what exactly it is she's suffering from. ]

I said leave me ALONE.

[She refuses to cooperate with this guy.]

[Hitting the gym was something off for him. Shiki had never given the appearance of being the athletic type, though it seemed as if he would have to get into that practice again. He opened what sounded to be an empty training room--stopping in his stride as upon opening the door, he discovered Kagura, hunched over and holding her stomach.]

Miss!? What's wrong!? You're--

[She wasn't human. In an instant, his eyes fixed on her could tell and for a moment, Shiki stopped talking. It took a few seconds to suppress it.]

What are you...?

[He gets a weak response in return, from someone trying to supress her own urge to vomit.]

I'm a demon. [She didn't want help, but honestly, she was in no position to push it away. Her eyes widen as she feels another painful urge, but steels herself. No. She would be fine.]

I-- [Shiki curbed the inclination to strike. In the deepest pit of his mind, he was obsessed with the thought of locking his hands around Kagura's throat or plunging his knife into the base of her. Instead, he dropped to one knee, all feelings of danger subsiding for the moment.

She was sick. A demon was knelt before him, looking as if she'd vomit.]

You're sick. Demons can get sick?

What the fuck--

[And she retched. No. No more talking, unless she wanted to vomit up everything in her body. She covered her mouth, making angry eye-contact with the boy.

Why was he doing this?]

You don't have to say anything. Just nod or shake your head. [For a moment, Shiki's fingertips fell on his glasses. He didn't want to assume anything--less he understand it was a trap or just a solution-less situation.]

Are you sick?

[She nods, staring at him. She isn't trusting this man just yet--nothing is ever just out of the good of someone's heart. She knows that.]

[Shiki wouldn't pretend he knew what could possibly make a demon sick. When he pulled his glasses off, he noticed something uncanny--two such things. One was a gaunt wreathe of spidery limbs curled around Kagura's shoulders and the other had been that the lines of death he saw on her were thin and spindly, deeper than he'd expect for a demon.]

Were you poisoned? There's something else wrong and it can't just be normal illness--especially not if you're a demon.
