Okay! So, I should find a way to keep myself busy that isn't training, right? So I can keep track of my progress and a general diary! It's better than sitting around staring at these geometric ceilings, anyway.

What should I talk about first... Roommates! I haven't met either yet, but hopefully I will soon. I did go crazy cleaning up the kitchen this morning, and tidying up the living room. I hope they're both okay and not people that are like...well, Dad won't approve of anyone probably. I would not be surprised if he wants to move into the same apartment sooner rather than later.

And before I forget: Dad is 606, Mr. Barnaby is 406.

Hm, what else... Oh! Kido is cool. She says her gang helps others with their abilities. [ She stops dictating to laugh at herself for a moment. ] "Hey Dad! I met this girl when I arrived the other day, and her gang can help me with my powers!! Cool, right?" No, more like he will have a heart attack if I mention the word "gang."

Speaking of abilities, I have to tell him I still have my NEXT powers, too. So that and I can generate ice! Which I haven't done yet. I put the boots on, but I was too hesitant to go and do it. [ A huff. ] Today I will! The lady said it would know when I need it, since it's..."sensiencer?" "Sentience?" [ There's a pause as her fingers fly across the keyboard. ] "Sentient." Got it.

Okay, I think that's enough for now.

[ Anyone scrolling through the network will come across a video feed of this brunette preteen humming to herself as her eyes focus on the right side of the screen. After a moment, she sighs in frustration and rubs her face with both hands before speaking. ]

And I thought my teacher gave me a lot of homework. At least these people don't test us on all of this stuff.

......they don't, right? [ She huffs, muttering to herself. ] They better not. Anyway, is anyone else new to this world like I am?

[ Can he really count Kallen as a friend though...? That's debatable. Euphie too for that matter. What they haven't is a little more than just friendship. Well... Shirley's here so he does have at least ONE friend from back home. ]

[ ...is toxic and pessimistic, yes/no?

She smiles lightly. ] So we're both lucky in having acquaintances from home.

He does smile back though. He's not sure he'd consider it lucky, he'd rather they all be back home and not involved with this. ]

Right, you said your dad was here with you, didn't you? I'm sure he's glad he can be here with you.

[ And watch out for her, hopefully. ]

[ She's thinking it, but she won't let it rule her. Got to find that silver lining! ]

Yeah, but I should be ready for either of us to be sent back at some point and leave the other behind.

[ He looks a little surprised by that. While sending her back before her dad would be one thing... ]

You don't actually think they'd send him home without you, do you?

[ She nods once, shrugging lightly afterwards. ]

Seeing as how he came here without me, I'm sure they'd send him back the same way. I don't think they care much when it comes to sensitivities.

[ It's a cruel thought, but if they're bringing kids like her here in the first place... ]

No... you're right about that one, but I still hope they'd at least have more sense in how they prioritize the people they're sending back to their worlds first.

One would hope. I still should prepare myself anyway just in case.

[ A sound of agreement at her comment on being prepared. She sounds like she's pretty smart and mature for her age, which hopefully means she can handle herself if the Initiative does anything like that.

He's not gonna have a chance to comment on that though since apparently introductions are in order. He's blinking a few times in surprise. ]

[ He even starts to bow his head to her before realizing how dumb that looks over a video chat. ]
