Did I do this right...I think so...Ah! I got it!
Okay! So, I should find a way to keep myself busy that isn't training, right? So I can keep track of my progress and a general diary! It's better than sitting around staring at these geometric ceilings, anyway.
What should I talk about first... Roommates! I haven't met either yet, but hopefully I will soon. I did go crazy cleaning up the kitchen this morning, and tidying up the living room. I hope they're both okay and not people that are like...well, Dad won't approve of anyone probably. I would not be surprised if he wants to move into the same apartment sooner rather than later.
And before I forget: Dad is 606, Mr. Barnaby is 406.
Hm, what else... Oh! Kido is cool. She says her gang helps others with their abilities. [ She stops dictating to laugh at herself for a moment. ] "Hey Dad! I met this girl when I arrived the other day, and her gang can help me with my powers!! Cool, right?" No, more like he will have a heart attack if I mention the word "gang."
Speaking of abilities, I have to tell him I still have my NEXT powers, too. So that and I can generate ice! Which I haven't done yet. I put the boots on, but I was too hesitant to go and do it. [ A huff. ] Today I will! The lady said it would know when I need it, since it's..."sensiencer?" "Sentience?" [ There's a pause as her fingers fly across the keyboard. ] "Sentient." Got it.
Okay, I think that's enough for now.

[ Anyone scrolling through the network will come across a video feed of this brunette preteen humming to herself as her eyes focus on the right side of the screen. After a moment, she sighs in frustration and rubs her face with both hands before speaking. ]
And I thought my teacher gave me a lot of homework. At least these people don't test us on all of this stuff.
......they don't, right? [ She huffs, muttering to herself. ] They better not. Anyway, is anyone else new to this world like I am?

action foreverrrrrr;
She sees the rifle and makes a note of that — hm, does that mean she's normal? Then again, maybe not...
She moves the tablet to the side to stand up, giving her a quick bow. ] Hello, and it looks like it. I'm Kaede, I just arrived here several days ago.

Sarah Kerrigan, and same here.
[She took around the room itself. Livable enough, she figured.]
Is it just you and me?
no subject
No. [ She looks over at one of the doors. ] There is one more person, but I have yet to meet them.
no subject
[Fortunately, Kerrigan was perfectly willing to spare Kaede the history involved with her name.]
So which room's mine?
no subject
[ Kaede walks over to the hallway with the bedrooms, walking over to one of them. ] This one would be yours. They kept it simple for all the rooms — I guess they want us to customize it with our monthly allowance, if we so choose.
no subject
[And as far as her 'room' is concerned.]
Don't much care for interior decorating.

The bathroom is here — each apartment shares one. [ She walks over towards it. ] Besides that and the living room and kitchen, that's about it for the apartment.
no subject
So what's your story? [Kerrigan turns to look at here.] We're gonna be sharing this place. Anything I should be aware of?

Kid, do yourself a favor and don't make me your first attempt.
no subject
[ Haaaaa yeah, she shakes her head at that. ] I wasn't looking to do so.
no subject
[that was... pretty easy, she had to admit.]
Looks like we understand each other.
no subject
Mm! [ She nods. ] Besides this place, apparently the Initiative just lets us do whatever for the most part. It is mandatory that we train on two specific days though.

Could be a mistake.

Is our situation something you're familiar with?

Can't really think of anything myself.
[she wasn't really feeling too hungry just yet.]
no subject
All right, well, feel free to leave a request in my inbox if you do! [ She grabs her jacket as she looks over. ] I already bought some food, so feel free to help yourself to it.

[As someone who's had it pretty rough, Kerrigan's not really used to being around someone so... not-terrible.]
