I don't really like doing that announcement thing, but since I'm her roommate... Snow White's gone home! Which is good, that means she's finally back with James, who's her total love at first sight wonderful husband and she has a daughter that maybe she'll get to see now so I'm happy for her. Right, and Al left too, but that was last month. Uh... a few others, but I don't really know the full list.

It makes me curious about something else, though. What do you guys do to show you remember and care about people who you'll probably never see again in this lifetime?

I'm not looking for anything fancy but nothing too cheap, I guess. It's someone's birthday, so I think they deserve something nice.

Floats sound like something he'd like.

Or the tough guy who says he totally has it covered and then walks right into the obviosu trap and looks surprised! Oh, or my other fav. Running upstairs to get away from the bad guy!

Okay, birthday, birthday... and a float? Hah! Okay, then then Cloudy Dave's for sure! He's kind of renovated a small place a few blocks north-east of the Hold. He gets a mixed crowd of locals, and I don't know what kind of syrup he uses, but the closest thing to actual pepsi or rootbeer or coca-cola I've tasted was at his place! There's way more outdoor seating than indoor, it's super dinky, but inside has a nice bar if you don't mind rubbing elbows with the local flavor.

Happy birthday to your friend! I'm glad you're celebrating it with him!

Movie writers don't seem to understand that people don't get that stupid when they're running from danger. No one locks themselves on a floor they can't escape from willingly.

Movies get a lot wrong! I think that's why they're fun, though. You can feel better about yourself because you weren't That Person. Or be horribly envious you didn't get to do that cool thing they did!

Spelunking! Sky-diving! Going into space! Also punching dinosaurs, that seems like it'd be kind of fun if also maybe not so smart.

I don't remember any dinosaur punching in Jurassic Park, but it has been years.

They might! I found Speed, it's all roughly the same part of the 90's. Haven't found much from past then, though, go figure!

I think I saw GoldenEye, there are probably more! Though maybe not past Tomorrow Never Dies, that just came out in '97, was there anything else during the 90's that you know of?
