I don't really like doing that announcement thing, but since I'm her roommate... Snow White's gone home! Which is good, that means she's finally back with James, who's her total love at first sight wonderful husband and she has a daughter that maybe she'll get to see now so I'm happy for her. Right, and Al left too, but that was last month. Uh... a few others, but I don't really know the full list.

It makes me curious about something else, though. What do you guys do to show you remember and care about people who you'll probably never see again in this lifetime?

It sounds like not giving up, sort of, even if the people who matter a whole bunch aren't araound anymore. For both your friends. I think it's really nice of you to do the cranes, you know? I bet your friend appreciated that you took the time to be with her when she was still here.

Helping keep someone safe, that sounds important, too! I wonder if it'd be any different if they wanted to keep a whole bunch of people safe. Would you take that on, too?

...Yes, I suppose it's something like that. And I think she may have. I hope so.

If that was something that my friend wanted, I would gladly take on the task, no matter how big it was. Even if I failed at it...I think I would have to try, at least.
