[She understands his desire to keep an eye out for people from home though, especially if it was a girl so young. Lacus doesn't want to consider the idea of children that age in this situation, though she definitely knows there are some around, even among the transports.]

I have seen many children here, but none have worn a lettered cap. What does the girl look like?

Her hair comes at about her shoulders. Usually, she's wearing a little white dress over a yellow shirt. She may have a walkie-talkie with her.

It was back from where we were staying, yes. I only just arrived.

[She understands the need to protect someone. The need to not fail if someone's protection is entrusted to you. Rue is who she protects now, because failing her a second time isn't an option. And a part of her, a small part of her, buried in the deepest and darkest of places, keeps an eye out every month for signs of her little sister: blonde hair (usually in two braids), a shirt tail not quite tucked in. Maybe a miniscule fraction of that part of her even hopes.

But she shouldn't. No one should. Because to be brought here means only one thing... and it's not something a child should be subjected to. Not again.]

It's better if she isn't here. [She doesn't exactly sound harsh when she says it. More matter-of-fact than anything.]

I haven't seen anyone by that name in person or on the contact list but I'll keep an eye out for her.

New arrivals seem to start coming in at the beginning of the month and when they do, their name is added to the contact list so if you ever want to be absolutely sure- just check it.
