I have two questions for everyone.

1) Are there people here who have more than human abilities that can affect other people's minds? And if so, are any of them willing to help others train in resistance of mental interference?

2) How many people here have no experience fighting?

Oh actually 3 questions, I guess. I wouldn't mind finding a few people to spar with, if anyone else is looking. I used to do martial arts as a hobby, so I'm not entirely inexperienced.

[ She's never been fantastic at the thanking people thing, anyways, so his dismissal of the need for it works pretty well. She's fine with that, it lets her move on easily in the conversation. ] Aye aye, sir. No problem.

[ Standing up finally and stretching out, her smile settling into something more neutral but warm about the set of her face. ] So you have much experience with mechanical things or?

[Charlie snorts so hard it's a wonder his upper lip doesn't get sucked into his nostrils.]

Me? Christ no. But if you're into motors, I've a friend you should meet. She's wild about cars and motorbikes and anything else that vibrates.

Oh yeah? [ That is definitely interesting to her. ] That sounds someone it'd be good to know.

I'll see if I can arrange a meet and greet; you two'd probably get on like a house on fire.

[Meaning they'd love or detest one another, but he figures the statement's accurate enough for either possibility.]

[ A moment to consider, because people isn't actually her favorite thing, but more contacts could be well worth it. ]

Yeah, sure, I'd like that sometime.

[He nods: easy enough.] Lovely, we'll make a night of it. Get drinks some time-- or, juice I suppose.

[Charlie throws her a grin.]

You guys drink, and I'll be designated driver. How about that?

[ Amused and easy as she nods back, face still warm. ] We should do this again sometime.

Sure, sounds good.

[He chuckles low, taking another swig from his water bottle.] I'm down here most mornings and I won't say no to the company.

I guess designated walker is more accurate, but hey. Same idea.

[ Picking up her stuff finally. ] Then I'll be here too sometimes. Looking forward to it.
