I have two questions for everyone.

1) Are there people here who have more than human abilities that can affect other people's minds? And if so, are any of them willing to help others train in resistance of mental interference?

2) How many people here have no experience fighting?

Oh actually 3 questions, I guess. I wouldn't mind finding a few people to spar with, if anyone else is looking. I used to do martial arts as a hobby, so I'm not entirely inexperienced.

There are places in Japan where you can go in, ask for a bottle, and with that bottle, you will get a man - or a woman - who will sit with you, talk to you, share your drink and otherwise work to entertain you so that you do not feel lonely with no obligations besides to pay for your drinks.c They are called host clubs or hostess clubs.

I was bored with the cooperate world and all it's little shadows.

So you were in the corporate world before that?

I was in college, which is about the same thing save for the rate of pay.

Why do you think that?

That is what everyone was treating it like. I thought it was boring and left.

Someone was in the wrong college.

Someone was doing what they were expected to do by their family until they got fed up.

A good college is about learning stuff. Not corporate stuff.

Was hosting what you wanted to do or a setting things up job?

I fell into it, or rather, I beat up one during a fight and ended up having to take his spot in exchange for not being arrested. I found I enjoyed the attention and continued long after he was healed.

Well, that's definitely a way to get a job.

Mm, yes. It certainly helped in me finding control of my temper as well.

Was your temper a problem for you when you were younger?

Just a little bit.

It put a hamper on my social activities to spend time in detention scrubbing floors.

No, my sensei in judo did.

No wonder you're fond of martial arts as a hobby.

Even an arrogant smart-ass is bound to listen to a teacher if said teacher just pinned the smart-ass to the floor.
