Video (slightly backdated to the 13th-ish)

[The video clicks on from her room, the silver haired lady smiling a bit. She's dressed differently than last time she was seen, the style of her dress more alike to what Elrond would wear and her hair is braided though she's working on unraveling it. On her finger, the silver ring she wore before has vanished and is replaced with a gold one and she's wearing a thin but elegant circlet.]

For those who noticed, I've returned. It seems that I was not gone for very long, however, as my things have gone untouched.

[At that, she takes a glance at a nearly finished dress she had been working on before Elrond had disappeared.]

I can't say that I'm happy to be back.

And Mother, I think we should talk.

[Pause and then she laughs softly.]

You really didn't do my children any justice when you spoke of them.

[Teasing, a little, but obviously her children are amazing. And nobody is allowed to ever disagree.]

I'd find that easier to bear if we had a better sense of what we're doing.

[ladyofrivendell]

Whatever we are told, I would assume. I myself have no intention of placing myself in combat situations. My skills are better suited towards serving as a Healer.

[crystalia]

I'd prefer that route, myself. But I suppose it'd be better to do what I could do best.

[ladyofrivendell]

I often find it better to put to use what skills you have but I doubt highly that anyone would oppose you helping with healing.

[crystalia]

True, but you don't want to leave that to the inexperienced.

[ladyofrivendell]

That is true enough. Some things can be taught easily enough, however. For emergencies.

[crystalia]

You said healing, though, not medicine. Is it a magical art?

[ladyofrivendell]

I wouldn't call it magical exactly, though our skills in the art of healing exceeds that of the race of Men.

[crystalia]

So a different group with more advanced science, then. Mankind, in my world, hasn't gotten as far as some races, but some... _{( She shrugs. Some of the most brilliant scientists she knows are human. )}

[ladyofrivendell]

[A pause as she tries the word.] Science...

[Ahahaha!]

This word is new to me.

[crystalia]

Oh! Well, it's a way of... quantifying knowledge, I suppose. Science is a type of logic, understanding the mechanisms of how things work. If you know how the body works, for instance, you're better at healing it. That's the science of medicine.

[ladyofrivendell]

[Listening and thinking it over before nodding.]

I think that I understand.

[crystalia]

I imagine everyone has a similar concept, even if they don't call it that. But maybe someone else could explain it better.

[ladyofrivendell]

Perhaps they should. I may understand better then, especially once I am better rested.

[crystalia]

Rested? From what?

[ladyofrivendell]

A week ago, in Middle Earth, my daughter entered the world.

[crystalia]

Congratulations. _{( It comes automatically to her lips, with the warmest of smiles. )}

What is her name--oh! I haven't even asked yours yet, have I?

[She's smiling, despite being separated from her husband and children.]

My name is Crystal. Crystalia of the Inhumans, formally.

What do you mean, Inhuman?

[crystalia]

That's the name of my people. We're related to humans, in many ways, but also distinct. My sister, Medusa, is our queen.

[ladyofrivendell]

Truly? Then if we were of the same world, our races would be related as well. Elves and Men are cousins, both Children of Iluvatar.

[crystalia]

In that case, I'll consider us cousins, as well.

[ladyofrivendell]

[Smiling brightly.] I have no objects to that.
