[The video clicks on from her room, the silver haired lady smiling a bit. She's dressed differently than last time she was seen, the style of her dress more alike to what Elrond would wear and her hair is braided though she's working on unraveling it. On her finger, the silver ring she wore before has vanished and is replaced with a gold one and she's wearing a thin but elegant circlet.]

For those who noticed, I've returned. It seems that I was not gone for very long, however, as my things have gone untouched.

[At that, she takes a glance at a nearly finished dress she had been working on before Elrond had disappeared.]

I can't say that I'm happy to be back.

And Mother, I think we should talk.

[Pause and then she laughs softly.]

You really didn't do my children any justice when you spoke of them.

[Teasing, a little, but obviously her children are amazing. And nobody is allowed to ever disagree.]

[Wow. She had a major case of nerves at that "I think we should talk." Way to give your mother a heart attack, Celebrían. But by the time Galadriel flips on the video feed, any sign of distress is gone.

She gives a little laugh of her own.]

You cannot fault me for that. No words, no matter how fair, could do them justice.

[At least it wasn't intentional on her part. Since, you know, you all keep secrets from her. Really, she was trying to make it seem like this was a SERIOUS PROBLEM.]

No, I can't. I could try but I'd fail. They really are wonderful and the twins are taking to Arwen so easily. They insisted on letting me rest just before I came and offered to watch her.

As well they should have. [Rest is important! She'd be surprised if Elrond hadn't fussed at her about that.] How long has it been?

[He tried. Several times, in fact. Except as soon as she heard Arwen getting fussy, she was up again and taking care of her. Worried mommy syndrome, right here. She hadn't even wanted to let the boys take Arwen but she had been getting a little exhausted.]

Since I went home or since Arwen was born?

[Celebrían, darling, that's a little insane. Labor is exhausting- she knows this. Rest is good.]

[But Elrond has other things to worry about. And what if it's a hungry cry? Only she can deal with hungry crying.]

Oh look, the smile she's had on falters a bit. Dammit, mom.]

Of course you will. [Her answer is soft.] You are resting now, I hope?

You returned home, then? Back to your own world and time?

I did, yes. To the moment that I had departed, in fact. Which was a great relief, I'd have been terribly disappointed if I had missed my own wedding.

The Initiative seems to have a predilection for times like that, don't they? _{( She laughs, wryly. )}

It seems that they do.

[Since they just brought her back just barely a week since her daughter had been born.]

I was married a few weeks before coming here.

But in any case, it's good to know that things are as they say, and our worlds aren't suffering because we're here.

I'm sorry that you were taken away from that but I am glad that I can give you some measure of reassurance that things will be the same when you return.

Still, the prospect of being yanked back and forth isn't exactly a welcome one.

It isn't. At least we know to when we return to. Now we need only finish our time here.
