I have a question.  How do you know when someone is flirting with you?  I just do not understand flirting at all so I do not know how to recognize it.  Or how to even flirt.  It never really seemed like such an important thing.  But apparently it is?

I mean, for us sylvari we are blunt.  If we like someone we tell them.  We do not see a reason to beat around the bush, you could say.    But it seems to be a thing the other races do.

[Silence for a few moments, as if she's debating on adding anything else.]

We have some new arrivals again.  Hello!  I hope you can find a way to make this place feel like home.

Ah, she was looking for a suitor. It's odd how a simple thing like that can be seen as something literally as her just being clumsy or careless when there was another purpose behind the action.

Well, there's a complication with that one. Yes, it's supposed to be a form of flirting but it ruins a perfectly good over coat and it's very outdated. It's also to be polite since dresses were often very expensive.
vaudevil: (Oh well. At least I tried.)

I think it's from all the material used to make the bustles, corsets and petticoats that make them appear more elaborate that cost the most. You see, men have it simple. Ladies always dress to impress. There is no other way to explain it.
