[ Considering Adam spent the last two weeks as his old self, that is, the person he was before this and that incident, he takes it remarkably well. The memory of actual, feeling hands is still fresh in his mind, although he hadn't even been able to appreciate it much due to it having been nothing special at the time. It's easier to compare now, however—flesh to metal, feeling to unfeeling, weak to powerful. And for once, the lingering emotion of something having been taken from him against his will doesn't flare up again.

It's different. Much like a disabled person revisits the memory and place where everything happened and changed to maybe, finally, find some closure.

Things happen.

You don't always get a say in it. All you can do is deal, adapt and progress, because ultimately, that's what life has always been about. ]

I see everyone's quick to mope or make apologies. Excuse me if I refrain from joining your ranks this time, seeing as I came out of this with a few cute girls, free meals and a videogame—all things I didn't ask for, but I'm still not sharing. But yes, Adam will be knocking, indeed. It takes him mere minutes to find out the room number--206--and only a couple more to arrive at the transport building. He briefly debates how he's gonna let himself in, and settles for the quickest method after a quick scan of the apartment.

Using the door is totally for losers so he PUNCHES THE FUCKING WALL OKAY.

[Well, he definitely hears that. Sollux rolls his office chair to the edge of his room, to which he can see the front wall of the apartment just. Hole punched in it. Sollux's eye twitches in annoyance, and he adjusts his glasses, stepping out of his room.]

[Cue mock raspy deep voice.]

[ Adam doesn't even dignify that with a verbal response. He's simply been making an entrance for himself, for all intents and purposes, and steps in. The wall doesn't matter.

Pretty sure Sollux' face needs fixing, first. Adam aims his augmented, metallic fist at Sollux in passing as he walks straight into his room, without stopping. ALIEN KIDS THESE DAYS they have no manners. ]

[ ooc: Go wild. Adam's sturdy and recovers fast; it's possible bees aren't even able to sting him thanks to his dermal armor, and being tossed out the window would annoy him at most since he's got an implanted Landing System augmentation so he can fall from any height without taking damage. ]

[Behind Adam, the wall-sized window opens up. Behind Sollux's thick shaded glasses, red and blue glow brightly from his mutant eyes, and soon, Adam isn't touching the ground.

Since Sollux refused to use his abilities, for the most part, during their shared mission, this is probably the first time Adam's seen him use his powers. Although if Adam had taken note of those giant rocks that were hurled at the UE, he'd recall they shared the same red and blue tint that Sollux has glowing from his eyes now.]

Don't come here again, or it won't be a nice warning.

[ Yeah, he does vaguely recall that, although he doesn't make the connection immediately. Still, considering he's floating, he gotta say-- ]

That's a pretty neat trick.

[ But he's seen and felt worse shit-- shit that almost got him to beg, and making Adam Jensen beg isn't at all easy to pull off. Getting tossed out the window will do little to impress him; he might as well just climb back up. ]

Fine, he can deal with that much, although he definitely does not appreciate being called a robot, that's sort of a pet peeve of his. He's maybe half-robot at most, thank you sir.

Maybe Sollux can at least appreciate a bit of a lightshow when he releases Adam, who's clearly falling but surrounded by something akin to a yellow bubble as he does, slowing down his speed considerably right before he hits the ground and absorbing the impact.

It takes him only a second to regain his focus after that, and he's shouting up at the window. ]

[Sollux replies from his window, yelling back down at him.]

[Yeah, yelling back and forth at each other. Although, he did in fact enjoy the lightshow. It sparked his curiosity, and if he didn't decidedly platonically hate Adam, he'd take more interest in it.]
