[So he's figured out how this tablet works now, so started reading back a bit. One thing has mostly caught his attention, so here he is.]
A lot of you seem adamant to abstain from offering your loyalty to the initiative, which...I understand in the sense that they are strangers just as much as the United Earth.
But should the claims of their forces attempting to raid your own home world be true, it would have disastrous consequences for the people you know still there. Is that worth the risk?
Or is there something else I'm missing here?

Behavior as the one you pointed out is common for you?

The deceased seem to think beating it, literally, is some sort of ticket for a return departure. Makes that kind of behavior more common than you'd think.

Have you known any that have been able to defeat it?

Noone can escape Death, even if they did succeed in avoiding it after they were due. It's the natural order of things.
Avoiding it merely prolongs the inevitable...in some cases, prolongs their suffering.
