[On the feed, you can see a pretty blonde girl staring at the screen. She's brushing her long hair with one hand, reaching to poke around on the screen with the other.

Finally, she lets out a little sigh, and mutters:]

Same shit, different day, I guess.

[She'll finally look directly into the camera, now, and put on a bit of a smile as she continues brushing her hair.]

So, it looks like I'm one of the few people whose age didn't get screwed around with. Anyone else out there?

[SINCE THIS IS BEFORE THE RABID CHILD IS SUPPOSED TO COME INTO HIS LIFE-]

Like, going outside or reading the device or anything? Have you been doing that?

I'm looking at the device right now aren't I? And I go outside, even if it's raining all the time.

[pinches the bridge of her nose ...]

That's what cloaks and umbrellas are for.

So? It's still gross outside.

It's still fresh air. It's unhealthy for you to lock yourself up in your room all the time.

[she frowns, leaning in to the camera a little]

What happened to the guy who used to lecture me about not going out enough? How about we spar or something?

[wilder]

[HE DIED INO. HE DIED AND GOT RESURRECTED IN A SHITTY TOWN WITH EVEN LESS SHIT TO DO]

Spar?

[There's hesitation because ugh what if his powers act up again?]

All right, I could go for one of those.

[ino]

[SOB]

Great! Do you know where the training center is?

[wilder]

Yeah yeah.

You wanna go now?

[ino]

Sure!

Oh, do you mind if I bring Sakura with me, though? She's a little kid right now and I don't want to leave her unattended.

[wilder]

Sure, I don't care.

[ino]

Alright, then I'll meet you there in fifteen minutes?

[wilder]

I'll be there.

[ACTION and i guess ino > sakura > zelos?!?!]

[ino]

[she's just waiting in the training center at the appointed time with a little sakura in tow! and she'll be absently poking at some of the weapons on the wall]

( Sakura will be close to Ino, leaning forward to examine the weapons she has absolutely never seen before. Mostly these weird gun-things. With her hands clasped behind her back to prevent herself from touching anything, her eyes are wide and she's tilting her head one direction to see down a rifle barrel... )

[wilder]

[And Zelos will arrive a bit later. He's wearing a dark cloak to shield from the rain, but lowers the hood when he comes into the training center and sees it's just Ino and that kid]

Yo.

[ino]

[THAT IS DANGEROUS THOSE THINGS HAVE EXPLODING STUFF, SAKURA.]

--Sakura, you really shouldn't put your face near those --

[oh, hey Zelos]

--Hey.

[notyetwonderwoman]

( Sakura immediately steps back and away from the guns, looking toward Ino. She's halfway through asking why when she sees the newcomer... and tries to quietly slip behind Ino so she doesn't have to look at this stranger on her own. )

[wilder]

[He'll give a small wave and nod in greeting, before glancing at the small girl]

I take it that's Sakura?

[ino]

[she'll step a little to the side, gently pulling sakura forward. don't be shy, bb!]

This is Sakura. Sakura, this is -- [the slightest hesitation, because she's ready to introduce him as Zelos, but--] Kaneis.

[notyetwonderwoman]

( Clinging to Ino even as she's pushed forward, she glances up at Kaneis, then down. It takes her a deep breath to summon the right kind of courage, but when she does, she lets go of Ino and bows from the waist to Zelos, hands both held in front of her.

She's being painstakingly polite in an effort not better deal with being very young around people who are very much her elders. )
