[On the feed, you can see a pretty blonde girl staring at the screen. She's brushing her long hair with one hand, reaching to poke around on the screen with the other.

Finally, she lets out a little sigh, and mutters:]

Same shit, different day, I guess.

[She'll finally look directly into the camera, now, and put on a bit of a smile as she continues brushing her hair.]

So, it looks like I'm one of the few people whose age didn't get screwed around with. Anyone else out there?

[THAT IS DANGEROUS THOSE THINGS HAVE EXPLODING STUFF, SAKURA.]

--Sakura, you really shouldn't put your face near those --

[oh, hey Zelos]

--Hey.

( Sakura immediately steps back and away from the guns, looking toward Ino. She's halfway through asking why when she sees the newcomer... and tries to quietly slip behind Ino so she doesn't have to look at this stranger on her own. )

[wilder]

[He'll give a small wave and nod in greeting, before glancing at the small girl]

I take it that's Sakura?

[ino]

[she'll step a little to the side, gently pulling sakura forward. don't be shy, bb!]

This is Sakura. Sakura, this is -- [the slightest hesitation, because she's ready to introduce him as Zelos, but--] Kaneis.

[notyetwonderwoman]

( Clinging to Ino even as she's pushed forward, she glances up at Kaneis, then down. It takes her a deep breath to summon the right kind of courage, but when she does, she lets go of Ino and bows from the waist to Zelos, hands both held in front of her.

She's being painstakingly polite in an effort not better deal with being very young around people who are very much her elders. )

Good afternoon, Mister Kaneis.

[wilder]

[He meanwhile smiles and squats down to her level, offering her a friendly smile. Little girls were always adorable]

Why good afternoon, my dear Sakura! I have to say, I love the color of your hair.

[ino]

[d'awww. she'll just glance down at sakura encouragingly!]

[notyetwonderwoman]

( Sakura startles, eyes widening. She blushes, looking up to Ino. With that encouragement she can meet Zelos' eyes for a little, then focuses on his mouth. It's easier to continue to look at.

She smiles, small and shy. )

Um, thank you, Mister Kaneis. It's because Ino gave me this really nice ribbon. It makes me not look like a ghost. I love the color of your hair, too. It's very pretty.

( Is she supposed to tell a man he's pretty? She's not sure. Um... )

I promise I'll be very quiet while you and Ino are sparring.

( In fact, she glances up at Ino again, taking a step to the side. If she's not restrained, she'll continue to the side of the room, six feet away from the weapons rack, where she'll then seat herself on her knees and keep her hands in her lap. )

I'll watch from over here! Okay?

[wilder]

[He chuckles a little]

You don't give yourself enough credit, my dear. But thank you!

[He is more than okay with being called pretty in regards to his hair. Cause what is fear of masculinity.]

[When she steps away, he'll stand and nod]

Hey, don't be afraid to cheer Ino on! She might need the support!

[ino]

[sakura! UGH so cute. she'll let her go sit down, though she'll pat her on the head first. her attention turns to zelos now, with a grin]

We'll see about that.

[notyetwonderwoman]

( Sakura nods her head, certain she'll keep her word! At least until the action really gets going. )

[wilder]

[He smirks at Ino as he moves into fighting stance]

Any rules?

[ino]

[she shrugs]

I've got nothing.

[wilder]

[he grins, gesturing at her to come at him]

Ladies first then.

[ino]

If you insist.

[she'll take off in his direction! she doesn't want to show off TOO much just yet, but her speed is pretty far beyond a regular person's. she'll just throw a regular punch to his gut to test him out]

[wilder]

[he's noticing that speed as she throws the punch, but he's also pretty speedy so he's turning away to avoid it, and trying for his own punch at her side]

Fast!

[ino]

[she's blocking that, and using that contact, she'll move to shove him away with enough strength to send him flying if he doesn't stand his ground.

THIS ... IS HOW SHE "DOESN'T SHOW OFF"]

REGAL'S LIFE IS SUFFERING

[wilder]

[He feels that strength and moves back a little, but beyond that he holds his ground with a grunt. He looks surprised- my god this girl we're like in the first ten seconds in the fight da fuq. ]

[But he jumps back, quickly turning to give her a spin kick to try to knock her off her balance]

[ino]

[she'll jump back to avoid the kick, and give him a little shrug at that look]

You said to go first.

[wilder]

Yeah, just remember it's a spar- not a fight to the death.

[But he'll unhook his sword from his belt, keeping it in the scabbard since hand to hand really isn't his thing. He then turns and tries giving her a low swing, moving at a speed to match hers]

[ino]

If it were a fight to the death --

[she pauses to hop out of the way of the scabbard]

-- then it would have been a lot worse.

[wilder]

Hm.

[He wonders how much of it is a bluff, how much she's holding back. But all the while he doesn't give her time because with great speed he swings his scabbard in a follow up move in the exact direction she hopped -as if planned]

[ino]

[oho! she looks surprised for a brief moment, but she's moving to grab the scabbard mid-swing! and she'll keep holding on to it while she aims a kick at his gut]

[wilder]

[And the second she lifts her leg off the ground and holding the scabbard? He lifts the sword in a fashion to thrown her while she's off balance, using a pretty impressive amount of strength and speed]

[ino]

[she stumbles pretty obviously, but she's quick to let go of the scabbard and use a flip to get her grounding a few steps away from him. surprisingly, she grins a little and even lets out a giggle once she's landed. not bad, zelos! she can see why tsuna asked you to train him!]
