I think I missed the hat. [ No she's not joking, and yes she knows that sounds... odd ] And when your wardrobe's destroyed you get [ ... ] somewhere else not on the map. [ Not on her map. She's seen the map, and even if it looks vaguely familiar she doesn't remember anywhere known as Exsilium. Granted she's never heard of Storybrooke before or Fairy Tale Land before going there ]

If this hadn't been explained I would think I hadn't gone anywhere, or that this was Cora's doing. [ She may still be thinking that. Explanation or not it's not all sunk in yet, and considering she's here alone - her mother would be a better fit for this than her, not that she wants her stuck there either - it doesn't sound like something she wants to believe ] Which wouldn't be good. [ Just pointing that out ]

So. Just going to go out on a limb here. Has anyone read Snow White? [ Just in case? And why Snow White, other than the obvious ] Or... Pinocchio? [ As much as a friendly face could be nice she's not sure she wants to hear from them ]

Never mind. [ She sounds a little defeated, and she can't blame herself ] It was just a thought. [ A very bad one. On a scale of 1-10? ]

Okay, going with better questions I guess I need to know about this, or at least what's not covered in Exsilium 101. [ Great read, could have done with a joke or two though ] What don't they tell you? [ She needs that fine print ] Or a tip for getting used to it. [ Not settling in, that's not happening. And now she's stopping ] I'd appreciate it.

Food sounds like a great choice. [ When did she last eat? Especially in a restaurant ]

You too, Snow. [ She might have spoken to her with both sets of memories but not Snow alone. It would be different, and interesting.

Emma left her apartment early enough to make sure that she could get there - she wanted to give herself enough time to do so comfortably, and to be able to see what was around as she went.

The restaurant had a little bit of a crowd when Emma arrived, not hugely so but busy enough to give her the impression that it was good like Snow had said. She didn't know if she'd already arrived or not, a quick scan of the people inside didn't alert Emma to her presence so she took to finding someone that worked there, on the chance that they might know ]

[She's still apprehensive, but that hesitance only makes her a few minutes later. The curiosity is overpowering; a friend she hasn't met, with details of a future she hasn't yet lived in. It's enticing, and it leads her to the restaurant soon. Once she sees the blonde woman talking to a waitress, she calls out.]

Emma! I'm here.

[ Emma stopped mid-sentence when she heard Snow's voice, the voice that sounded so familiar and yet different all together, lacking the familiarity and knowledge that she was used to (partly from Mary Margaret). She turned to search her out, finding her quickly. Emma gave her a smile, stepping away from the waitress to greet her ]

Hey. It's good to actually see you. [ And seeing was. So different and not. The curse really hadn't aged them, and minus the clothing and Snow's longer hair she looked exactly the same ]

A pleasure to see you as well! [She turns towards the waitress with a smile.] Table for two, please?

Have you been able to meet your roommates yet?

Not yet. I didn't stick around too long. [ Or they were already out, but Emma hadn't been there that long before putting up her message ] I met one of yours. [ Just... throwing that out there ]

[She smiles.]

She's a sweet girl. Having someone agreeable to live with really makes it better to be trapped here.

She seems it. [ And that makes Emma glad. Maybe she'll be able to get Collette to keep an eye on you, or maybe she won't have to ask ] Hopefully mine are the same. [ When she eventually goes there ]
