Training with your weapon. In the Initiative's eyes, ideally for war, yeah. Some kind of war.

Oh! That's what we're involved in, but the some kind is 'cause there's all kinds of war. Though I guess they're all the same at heart. But yeah, most of our fighting isn't directly against the UE. Some is, but the Initiative can't take them head on.

Which is why they're recruiting strangers to fight it for them.

Yep! Just like how they got us here once. You die, then they just... pull you in again, slightly sooner. Then you're less dead.

It's frightening, that's what it is! If you focus on that part. Mostly, we don't die, so it's not tested out a whole lot. The Initiative tried to treat us pretty well. For an extreme group of freedom fighters, they've got better resources and general attitudes than most folks expect. Probably comes out of being the scrappy underdogs!
