Ugh.

I knew going out in the snow was bad news.

[ a quiet, affectionate cry echoes, animalistic in origin. Stellaluna's a bit worried about her human. 8( not like him to be so lethargic for a few days.

However, Riku's been spreading a bit of cheer--some of his presents might be a tad late, but they're delivered carefully. And random transports were given pies or torts, even if he doesn't know them. ]

Hope everyone had a good Christmas. Now we just--

[ achoo! Groan, wobble, worried scree. ]

[ Lucy is totes okay with strange creatures. She has a plethora of them herself - one of which is actually hiding behind her boot, in fact, though Plue looked more like a tiny walking snowman. Also, he's shy. ]

Would you like something warm to drink? I was going to put a pot of tea on.

[ She doesn't offer to help him to his room, since he didn't look a sick as she was when she caught a cold in Fiore. She'd barely been able to make it to her bed that time. And as an afterthought, she cast a sunny smile towards said batty. ]

Who's your friend? Is he - or she - a spirit?

Yeah, she is. Just not the kind you know.

[ awkwardly, he shuffles towards his room--oh, right, she'd asked something else, hadn't she? ]

Uh... sure. Tea sounds good.

Mm, I'll say. She looks a lot different from the celestial spirits.

[ Pausing long enough to make sure Riku makes it to the door of his room, Lucy padded off to put the water on for said tea. ]

[ he doesn't tuck himself in like he knows he should just yet--after all, if Lucy's making tea, he's not going to make her come all the way in here just to deliver it. ]

[ After a few minutes, Lucy saunters towards Riku's room, carefully bearing the tea on a tray. Though if he starts to get up, she shakes her head. ]

You should stay in bed and stay warm. You don't want to catch a draft.

[ ... with a huff, he slumps right back onto his bed. ]
