Well. They say beauty's only skin deep. Have you got any notion what sort of a person she is really? Or don't you trust the opinion of whatever person has told you you've got a daughter here?

only that she grew well and has two brothers who are inclined to cause mischief

If you trust their judgment, and they judge she grew up to be a good person, then you may have little to fear.

Are you afraid you might harm her in some way?

That is not an unreasonable fear. But how would it happen, if it did? What ways could you harm her? Inadvertently, I assume.
