As an orphan, whose mother died in childbirth, I cannot count the things I would do to know her.

Perhaps speaking plainly of how things are for you, so she understands that there are things you do not know she might expect you to, might be a course of action.

It may not be the best action, but there may not really be a 'best' action.

[How do you answer such a question like that? Sho had left his daughter when he was turned and while it was out of anger and hurt, he always regretted that he did not have the courage to speak to her and see her grow into the woman that painted with her mother's skill but his heart. It takes him a few moments before he answers. ]

I would just talk to her. Approach her and try to get to know her.

It's hard to do it but I think any child would love to meet with a parent they might not know very well.

Now though, she found herself pausing outside, more nervous than she had felt before. It lasted only a moment before she sought entrance though.
