What an unfortunate turn of events lately. It's such a pity the Initiative was not there to diligently protect us from a most unexpected undead apocalypse. [ You hear a faint I told you so, I told you so echo in your thoughts. The voice is chilling. ] That is why it is better to rely on one's own strength than that of the group, or at least one so large. Divide and conquer, you know. It's simple strategy. I see they have yet to implement this, though. You'd think they put more capable commanders in charge, but it's not my place to judge, now is it?

[ Prestor raises his glass to his audience, lips cracking into a grin. ]

Charred scales surround it, but nothing else can be seen—though nothing else really has to. The scope of the beast is clear from the heavy breaths it makes, the occasional flash of serrated fangs.

The text continues, but it scrolls in front of Segai now in blood red letters, the entire display visible to him and him alone thanks to concealing magic. ]

AN EASY ENOUGH RIDDLE TO SOLVE. THEY WILL NOT ALL BE SO STRAIGHTFORWARD.

LOOK AT THE FOOLS WHO ABOUND HERE. THEY KNOW NOTHING OF WHAT AWAITS THEM. TOO EASILY DO THEY ACCEPT THE LIES THEY ARE FED.

[ His hands clap together as he continue to laugh between his words. Yes, the people here brought this being to their lands to ensure that things should tip. That means that they were willing to pay the consequences. Such a shame. Miles was trying to set up a system of law, but who can govern this one? His king? Ah, Segai now wonders if this one is the one who betrayed that sweet and noble king which they talked on, and laughs a little harder. ]
