In the recent weeks I've found residence here, I've grown to learn that the medicines of the Initiative are not explicitly trusted by many of us.

My homeworld has a variety of medicines meant for both wounds and illnesses in the battlefield, and in my time as a student, I learned these recipes carefully. [ his gaze now goes to the small variety of bottles; the liquids inside differ in color and shimmer with ethereal light. ] Although many ingredients cannot be found here, there are reliable substitutes that work just as well.

[ and reminded of his rather... eventful gathering of ingredients, the corners of his mouth quirk up. ] To everyone who helped me collect, thank you. I am in your debt.

Its test run ran smoothly. Should anyone find themselves in need of a medicine and prefer not to turn to the Initiative, they are welcome to stop by Unit 304.

You've taken on the role of an apothecary. [ Handy handy. ] Was this something you studied prior to arriving here?

It is, as a matter of fact.

Curative potions and mixtures are a, perhaps the word is--fascination of mine.

You were successful then in locating the appropriate ingredients in this new world?

Yes.

It was difficult, yet eye-opening to the flora of this land.

I have yet to explore the outskirts of the city. Perhaps tomorrow, weather permitting.

It's a spacious land. You may find yourself lost once or twice.

As to be expected in a new world.

I have yet to see a detailed map be produced amidst our kind, or theirs. Perhaps it could be a worthy expedition to do so.

I have, yes. While it would seem you've spent a fair amount of time here.

A fair bit, yes. I, admittedly, have not counted the days. It has been enough time to inquire as to substitute ingredients for these medicines, find substitute ingredients, test them, and open these medicines to the public, however--it is a good amount of time on its own, to not count exploration of this new land.

Should you find yourself in need, I would be happy to help.

Are you at all able of wielding a weapon? Not specifically the weapon you were given here but from back in your home world.

Yes. In my home world, I wield two weapons in tandem, one a rapier and the other a parrying dagger. Here, it seems, I have no corporal weapon, as what I was granted is a form of magick.

Why do you ask?

A form of magic? Does it have anything to do with the medicines you concoct?

Ah - if ever I find myself in a situation where I require someone capable of wielding a blade, that's all.

Yes and no. In my world, I would describe it as a 'Paling'--a barrier that nullifies all physical or magickal damage done outside and inside of it.

Yes. I have summoned it before to practice, yet I am afraid that I am not especially proficient in its use; it encompasses a wide area around myself. It would be most useful for healing others during battle, I presume.
