[ He's not quite engrossed enough in the new toy to not spare that comment a glance in her direction before he looks back down at the gun and works out how to best dismantle it so he can examine the components. ]

[ Fiddle fiddle. He's not gleaning enough off of it to understand without actually engaging it a little and listening to whatever it tells him then. So, 'here, hey, what does this do' he goes. ]

Humans tend to be pretty good with those on a day to day basis. Mask's a good idea for the big stuff but wearing it all the time would be inconvenient. And then I wouldn't get to see your face, which would apparently definitely be a bad thing.

[That's the thing, though, she's still not used to being so exposed and ... uh, conventionally attractive. And also not used to the blush being visible. She clears her throat.]
