[timed after this. Because this is just.... not alright and -- ]
I can't be the only person who comes from a place, where for the most part... elves, fae, bogarts, and all such manner of creatures are something that you hit over the head with a poker before you befriend? Honestly.
[No, she's not afraid to admit, doesn't care who reads it. They're empathy lacking monsters as far as that goes for home.]
Not that that applies to all worlds, obviously, I'm not an idiot -- and was raised with better manners mind you. But I doubt that I'm alone in this.
[Says the governess related to Death of all things -- but that's different. Death is supposed to be a killer, and she's also fairly sure he's capable of more empathy than most people would ever imagine. He spared her father for her after all.
But she's worried, all the same. Just because their worlds are round it doesn't mean it can be that different. It was an oddly isolating feeling when the things you knew to be true were turned upside down. Again.]

[she's arrogant yes, but it happens.]
And believe me, where most fae of my world are concerned, all you have to do is be good at something, and they'll kidnap you.

I'm used to the kind that steal children, bewitch humans, that enjoy human suffering because they... well I have no idea what they think of human suffering, I happen to have the emotions they lack -- just that they like to cause it. They're parasites with no ability of their own that feed off human's ability to create, and then when they grow bored of it, throw it away to wander the wastes of the fairy realms. Like so much unwanted trash.
... Do I need to go on, or is that enough? [there's a sigh.] Everything else -- even the vampires, trolls, dwarves, even if they crush and destroy, that at least have empathy. That's more than you can say for fae.

[ They're just people with weird wears. Come on! ]
But fairies where I'm from can be pretty annoying. There's a ton of them in forests, always harassing travelers. Definitely not something you'd want to befriend.

But why would you hit something you want to be friends with?

Usually, because you don't want to be friends with it.

A poker? Really.
Re: video;
Where I come from, most faeries -- and in my normal case, bogarts, have a strong dislike of iron. I was looking after children at the time. Swords weren't on hand really. Would you have preferred I used the kettle?
[That's a good idea, she'll do that next time.]
voice;
You've made an unfortunate decision.

[arms crossed, maybe she's sorry for speaking to Galadriel harshly, apart from that no. She's not doing this for fun.]

It's been my experience that bullets work a bit better than a poker, dollface.

[Yes he's totally saying what's a better way of dealing with them, don't mind him.]
Re: video;
I tended to go with what was in hand, I look after children for the most part.
