[The video feed flips on, focusing (after a few seconds of jostling around) on Galadriel, sitting on the steps of the Initiative Hold, her sheathed sword beside her. Having just finished training, she’s attired appropriately, wearing a simple dress and with her hair braided and wound about her head- displaying those pointed ears quite prominently for those who might have missed them before.]

I grow weary of the constant grey here. It is overlong since I have heard a running stream or seen the sunlight filtered through the forest canopy.

Tell me, those of you who have journeyed outside this city: does greenery yet remain in this world? It would do my heart well even to hear of it.

[Thanks. It's fun playing the game: what-the-hell-are-you, haha-what-do-you-think-I-am, et cetera, but sometimes it's nice to just forego the whole thing and get right into conversation.]

I had an idea before, to go back and swap out some old technology in history with newer stuff that wouldn't mess up the planet this bad. Retroactively clean things up, yanno? Problem is, it never took off. I guess they had trouble finding the right points to put 'em in.

[Strangely enough, she actually understands that a bit. Not to the degree that Sonic does, of course, but she gets the "what are you" questions sometimes too.]

A pleasure, Sonic. I am the Lady Galadriel. I gather you have been here for some time, then, if you have had time to make such a suggestion and be disappointed in the results.

Yeah, it's been a while... But hey, I thought it was worth a shot! Give us a world that we actually wanted to fight for, yanno?

I do. It was a commendable thought. If we are to be kept here, we should make it as bearable as possible.

Yup! They keep tellin' us this is our home now, so we may as well fix it up! And if we do go back home sometime, then we'll know we left the place a lot better than we found it!

...Maybe I can try it again. Yanno, after we beat the United Earth. [So confident.] You never know, maybe beating them will cause a lot of this damage to revert automatically! They probably had a lot to do with it.

We will return. There can be no question of it. [She's firm in that. Just because she's willing to help out around this place doesn't mean that she has stopped resenting being taken here.]
