[The video feed flips on, focusing (after a few seconds of jostling around) on Galadriel, sitting on the steps of the Initiative Hold, her sheathed sword beside her. Having just finished training, she’s attired appropriately, wearing a simple dress and with her hair braided and wound about her head- displaying those pointed ears quite prominently for those who might have missed them before.]

I grow weary of the constant grey here. It is overlong since I have heard a running stream or seen the sunlight filtered through the forest canopy.

Tell me, those of you who have journeyed outside this city: does greenery yet remain in this world? It would do my heart well even to hear of it.

[She laughs, but it's not the mocking laugh he might be expecting, but rather one of pleasant surprise.]

Yeah. [At first that same almost-hesitation, but then he gets bolder.] Yeah. I've always been good with my hands, an' making things is fun. The dolls are my favorites.

I like makin' people smile. That's what dolls 're for, you know? I gotta charge things sometimes, 'cause materials cost money, but I don't need nothing but that.

The world would be a better place if more felt thus. [a little pause] Perhaps we might search for materials together one day. I do not make dolls, but I weave and sew, among other things.

You do? That's awesome. I bet you make some awesome stuff. I've never made stuff all from scratch before, like with weavin' and everything. We always got the plain cloth from people who do that stuff.

I'd really like to make things with somebody else.

[And it's at this point where he realizes he doesn't have hers. The way he closes his mouth awkwardly at the end is almost comical.]

[It takes him three tries before he manages not to butcher the pronunciation horribly, but eventually he gets something passable.]

That's a pretty name; it's got a nice sound to it.
