[ When the feed opens it's not quite clear what's holding the communicator as Medusa has both hands visible - clasped neatly in her lap while a chunk of her red hair extends towards the feed, and it might take a second or two before someone watching realizes that what is currently holding the tablet is said chunk of hair. There's also a giant bulldog sleeping at her feet, currently not running rampart around the Hold for once. ]

Greetings, fellow Transports.

As much as I dislike posing a question that has doubtless been asked countless times before - has anyone considered going directly to the leadership of the Initiative for answers? Or, as a less ambitious goal, discovered who - or what - leads the fraction we have no choice but to side with?

Furthermore, this place seems ill-suited for those with any inclination away from pointless violence. I ask if anyone has any experience with politics or diplomacy to share what options you have found here.

[ A slight incline of her head to indicate a preemptive thanks at whoever comes forth before she continues on. ]

I've been growing accustomed to this place, more than anything.

But beyond that... yes. I think so.

I have no wish to do the same, but it seems as if we are left with no choice. [ Her distaste for it is almost palpable at this point. ] Though I have no doubt we will manage. We always do.

I manage. We cannot afford to be seen at anything less than our best, especially here.

[ Which is to say she spends most of her time mourning Black Bolt and missing Ahura. ]

We won't be. But should you need anything--I'm here.

Do you think our cousins will keep Maximus off my throne until our return?

[crystalia]

They will fight for you until the end. You know that.

[medusalith]

And yet Maximus has never been one to give up so easily.

But your marriage might yet prove to be our saving grace - Ronan would not let the Kree fall under his rule any more than I.

[crystalia]

He is... steady. Dependable. I would not want to rely on him, but I admit there are worse options.

[medusalith]

He will do what is right, in the end.

[ which is more than she can say for your other choices in husbands. ]

[crystalia]

Let's just hope that he continues to see our cause as "right."

Black Bolt's promise still stands, Crystal. We will find a way to help.

We have to get back, first.

A task that has proven harder than I had assumed at first. It would appear that the only way home is to play their game.

We can still do that in our own way. I thought so from the beginning.

Trusting them, however, is something I am not completely willing to do at his point.

I am. I know you don't think I've thought this through, but I do pay attention.

My concern, even here, is for our well-being.

[ Which isn't to say that she doesn't think Crystal has thought it through, but just that her previous record is spotty. ]
