There's also a giant bulldog sleeping at her feet, currently not running rampart around the Hold for once. ]

Greetings, fellow Transports.

As much as I dislike posing a question that has doubtless been asked countless times before - has anyone considered going directly to the leadership of the Initiative for answers? Or, as a less ambitious goal, discovered who - or what - leads the fraction we have no choice but to side with?

Furthermore, this place seems ill-suited for those with any inclination away from pointless violence. I ask if anyone has any experience with politics or diplomacy to share what options you have found here.

Then I will assure you it is nothing pressing, simply the matter of new living arrangements.

Unfortunately only two options remain - find and restore some living quarters outside of the Hold and in the city itself, or request new ones together exactly like the ones we are in now.

And so you intend to force them into listening and not expect some form of attack? What they choose to tell you will be very different from what is understood and feared.

It would be nice to actually know the figure behind all our kidnappings, but no one has yet to meet with them. The closest seems to be the woman who has greeted us and a few of their military group that goes with us in time.

We do not need to fight if we do not wish to do so. Many of the Transports here are not inclined to fighting and tend towards more supportive roles in the past or defensive roles. I have yet to see a mission more inclined for the diplomats and the like.

And has anyone inquired about the leader with these people?

I will fight if there are no other options available, but I have seen enough of war and its costs to wish for no more part in it. Least of all in a world I have no stake in.

Perhaps that is their fault for using violence before words. Regardless, I will not be satisfied until I, too, have tried.

Perhaps it is. Words do little if these people intend to keep us in one place, in line.

Yes. They have said various things that all seems like they are not even sure although they mostly run things by committees.

They will bring you to the site to be transported with all of us, but what you do once there is all up to you. I am no fighter myself although I can handle trouble it if happens. I prefer a supportive role myself. As for having no stake in matters, I think that is untrue. The U.E. wish to strip our worlds of their resources. I cannot see how that does not make things none of our concern if they are allowed to continue or not.
