[ Long time no see, Exsilium. The feed is dimly lit, but it's clear that Scott's standing outside, the dark silhouette of a treeline behind him. The sound's picking up a bit of static from a breeze. ]

Hey, it's Scott - I guess I should ask if people usually come back. When they leave, I mean.

[ That's actually the reason he was making this video, but he barely addresses it, because something's distracting him. ]

Because I did. Leave and come back. Which I guess is... something, but more importantly, does anyone know what the hell the "Fun Cafe" is?

[ There's a pause as he turns the video away from his face, swinging it around to face a creepy ass building on the side of the road, barely visible in the evening light. He holds the video there for a few seconds, then it's back to his slightly wary, slightly amused face. ]

... and does anybody want to find out?

[ Haha wow slightly awkward laughter. ]

[ Actually, wait. ] Have you actually seen lots of corpses?

Well, I suppose I was exaggerating.

Most of them are just skeletons by now, obviously.

[ Oh gross. Well at least they don't stink anymore if they're that old. ]

Still creepy, dude. Are you an elf? [ Because hello ears, and it's direct, but he manages to sound at least mildly polite when he asks. ]

I'm fey. [ a pause ] Morbidity is kind of the norm for us.

[ Fey. Like......... ]

You're the fairy? I mean - well, yeah, I guess I do mean that.

I thought fey were supposed to be into glitter and flowers? You know, instead of... corpses. [ .. wait that doesn't sound right. But it's what Disney said, okay. ]

[sithiche]

[ He raises an eyebrow. ] You know how everyone makes fun of those books for making the vampires sparkle? It's kind of like that. Bad PR job and whatnot.

[ And he raises a brow right back. ] You know about Twilight?

[sithiche]

Not all of us are stuck in the middle ages when it comes to pop culture.

Only most of us.

I don't know, in some cases that would be kind of a good thing. [ Like in blissful ignorance of Twilight. ]

So you're a modern fairy? [ One day he won't feel weird saying that; today's not that day. ]

I guess you can say that. I'm, well... pretty young, for my kind. And I spend more time around humans than the lot of them.
