Hello, network. I am Leliana, for all the new people here and those that do not remember.
One of my favorite preoccupations is storytelling. That is, listening to stories and telling them. I've been wondering...
A lot of us come from different places, yes? Different places mean different cultures, and to get to my point, different stories. I don't know if there is a collection of some sort, or if this has been asked before, but I want to listen to fables, myths or legends of all sorts from your homelands, if you will indulge me. That way, I can spread these marvelous stories in my travels if/when I get back to Thedas.
If you're more of the listening sort, I will be more than happy to relay stories from where I came from.

But then her magic fairy godmother found her, and gave her a beautiful dress and carriage and everything so she could go too. But the magic wouldn't last forever - only until midnight. The prince liked her the best at the ball, and they danced together all evening and fell in love. But when midnight came she had to leave, and she was in such a hurry that she forgot one of her glass slippers at the palace. Since the prince was so in love, he decided to have every girl in the whole kingdom try it on until he could find the right girl! Even though Cinderella's stepmother and sisters tried really hard to pretend it was them, he was able to find her after all, and they got married and she became a princess! The end.

I used to have this lovely pair -- it had two inch heels, made of red velvet with silk ribbons. I didn't get to eat nicely for a week after buying them. It was very expensive. But my feet looked darling.

They sound so pretty...! Oh! I like shoes, but... [ embarrassed: ] I'm really clumsy, so I don't think I could wear something nice like that.

I had the same problem when I was much younger. Everyone thought I had two left feet. But Marjolaine, my bard master, gave me lessons on balance and soon enough, I was able to walk around gracefully even in four inch heels!
I shall buy you a pair of pretty shoes and give you some pointers so you could have pretty feet as well. How does that sound?

Ah, something like that...! Wouldn't that be a lot to ask? And I don't even know if I could manage it even with lessons.
