Hello, network. I am Leliana, for all the new people here and those that do not remember.

One of my favorite preoccupations is storytelling. That is, listening to stories and telling them. I've been wondering...

A lot of us come from different places, yes? Different places mean different cultures, and to get to my point, different stories. I don't know if there is a collection of some sort, or if this has been asked before, but I want to listen to fables, myths or legends of all sorts from your homelands, if you will indulge me. That way, I can spread these marvelous stories in my travels if/when I get back to Thedas.

If you're more of the listening sort, I will be more than happy to relay stories from where I came from.

It's just a guess, but I think prince charming will spoil his blushing bride silly. Oh, imagine all the beautiful shoes she would have.

I adore shoes. [ rests her cheek in her hand, dreaming of shoes ] Orlais had some ridiculous fashion trends, but ahhh... it was worth it for a shoes.

I used to have this lovely pair -- it had two inch heels, made of red velvet with silk ribbons. I didn't get to eat nicely for a week after buying them. It was very expensive. But my feet looked darling.

Do you like shoes?

[ she makes a pleased sound as she listens to that description. ]

They sound so pretty...! Oh! I like shoes, but... [ embarrassed: ] I'm really clumsy, so I don't think I could wear something nice like that.

[ sparkly eyes oh ]

I had the same problem when I was much younger. Everyone thought I had two left feet. But Marjolaine, my bard master, gave me lessons on balance and soon enough, I was able to walk around gracefully even in four inch heels!

I shall buy you a pair of pretty shoes and give you some pointers so you could have pretty feet as well. How does that sound?

Ah, something like that...! Wouldn't that be a lot to ask? And I don't even know if I could manage it even with lessons.

Of course you can, dear. You just have to try really hard.

It's not too much to ask. I'm always happy to help. [ she giggles ] Especially if the help is fashion related.
