[Eddie's face fills the screen for a moment before he pulls the device back, giving the viewer a clear shot of the word "SUCCORIA" on his t-shirt, as well as a badge that reads "Ironheade" in bold white letters against a black background, and above it is a sword pointing down into a pattern of rocks similar to Stonehenge. The badge itself is dangling from a lanyard, and is intertwined with a rather large fang dangling from a black cord draped around Eddie's neck.]

Right, cool. So they brought me up to speed on the kinda shit you guys have been dealing with. The good news? I'm throwing my hat in the ring with you guys. Name's Eddie, Eddie Riggs. I'm a roadie. If you're wondering what the bad news is, well, the bad news is they didn't bring the rest of the army with me, but don't you guys worry about that!

Trust me, we'll have this under control in no time, we just need some good music, scrap metal, and some willing hands to help me work on some projects once I got my shit in order over here.

So what do you say, guys? How about we give this rebellion a bit more Rock?

[While he waits for people to chime in, he's going to alternate between reading his tour book, tuning his guitar, and looking over the edges of his battle axe.]

I hope you aren't gonna be doing that all the time in the apartment.

Well, no. Not all the time. I don't wanna risk burning the place down.

Good, cuz I get pissy when someone tries to burn me.

That uh... Is that a problem you have often?

People've tried to stab me, shoot me, blow me up, tie me down, and even tried running me over. It usually just makes me mad.

More like I was helping a king lead an army against their demonic oppressors. They ended up fucking with the wrong guy, and I guess you could say the demon's emperor got ahead of himself.

[Eddie chuckles at his own joke.]

Well, he thought we were pretty insignificant. Then we kicked his ass, so I guess the joke is on him.

Then he was an idiot. Anyone can be beaten if they get the motivation to try.

You'd be surprised how often people lose faith in themselves. Sometimes they need to get a good kick in the ass to get back on track.

I know that pretty well. Guy I knew, had all this ability but half the time, he sat around complaining about how bad he got it.

It takes a certain touch to help folks get past that sort of shit. Self doubt like that is like choking on mud. No matter how much you spit out, it doesn't seem to help.

At least until someone comes along with the fuckin' best beer you've ever had and washes it all out.

Usually I just toss cigarettes at him. Or steal his pack.

Beer's okay but I prefer vodka.

That reminds me, I need to track down where I can get a regular pack of cigarettes. I was already running a little low when I got here.

I haven't seen anything like smokes here yet, but I'm trying to get to the building without getting burned here.

I'm good. The day's pretty cloudy, so I can get by with a couple layers here.

[Lighting a cigarette, Eddie takes a slow drag off of it.]
